I admit- I read reviews for this before I bought it just a few days before Halloween, in a last minute rush to find a cheap and temporary way to color my hair a "normal" color for my costume. My hair is two-toned at the moment as I am taking a break from all the dyeing to help my hair repair & heal for a bit. The top is my natural color- a mousy, horrendous brown/dirty blonde with ever-growing grey hairs peppered in.... The bottom is a pale yellow from all the lifting and dyeing. Since I go for as close to the original as possible with my costumes, this coloring would not do! I was going as Kiki from Studio Ghibli's film Kiki's Delivery Service. I needed a dark brown/black hair color. This product was one of FEW that actually offered a "normal" color. The reviews were mixed. The number one thing I worried about was the "crunchy" effect everyone mentioned. But- since I didn't plan better and had few other options- I crossed my fingers and bought two cans (also recommended from other reviews). They arrived very quickly (another reason this brand was chosen as opposed to others). Halloween night, I read the directions & started spraying! 1) the coverage was PHENOMENAL! First spray and my section of hair was dark brown. 2) I did in fact use both cans for my shoulder length hair to get full coverage. No problem. 3) The crunchy thing did set in as the product dried. Granted, this was actually a positive for me as I have very thin, limp hair & Kiki's hair is very "poofy". I was able to use the spray to my advantage & got much more volume out of my hair. No other products needed. Brushing it did become impossible after two cans, but I managed. 4) while there was some transfer to the clothes that I put on over the hair when dried, it has all washed out with great ease- as did the spray residual in the bathroom and the color to my hair. Everything washed out in one go which was exactly what I needed. I will definitely be buying this again when I need my next temp hair color & some volume. If you want to be able to move and shake your hair, maybe try a different spray- but if you just need some color (and maybe a little extra volume/hold) for one night- this stuff is great!

She was able to color her hair temporarily without any fuss, and it washes out easily when she’s ready for a change. The color looks natural, stays put through the day, and didn’t irritate her scalp. Perfect for experimenting with hair color without the commitment.

Love this!! So pigmented and DOES NOT TRANSFER!!!! Dries crunchy like hair sprays do but it’s expected. Will buy again :)

Not as pink as in the picture and not enough to cover a whole head of hair. Buy more than1

Worked great. The size was smaller than expected. Used on my dogs tail for Halloween. Smelled like an orange slushee 😊

Honestly it’s very bad and not worth a penny, first of all to get this color you have to be blond ir gray hair!! The actual color is kind of dark burgundy , but that’s not the problem, it’s the texture!! Very dry , sticking together not smooth at all like glue and if you tried to separate the hairs it becomes worse , way worse, you will just need to shower, me and my daughter could not stand it for an hour, don’t waste your money

This worked amazing and exactly how I needed it to for my son to play grandpa joe in his schools Charlie and the chocolate factory play. It dried fast and wasn't flaky but also came off his skin easy and washed out just as easy and quick. And it lasted through 3 days of play shows
