Just What I Needed!
I looked at several mounted keyboard trays and this one seemed to be the right choice for my needs. I’m working from bed on a small mobile desk while healing from an ankle injury. The desk is perfect except that it sits too high to comfortably use a keyboard and mouse. I knew a tray of some sort was necessary. Most of the other models on Amazon have two clamps and require larger surfaces. This was one of the few single clamp options and it proved to be a great choice. Very easy to assemble and good quality. All of the parts are metal and feel secure. I really like that it can easily be removed/repositioned using the clamp lever. I have a full size keyboard and needed a mouse tray for additional space. I purchased one from the same seller and together they work perfectly. Worth every penny!

Perfect for desks that are 2 1/2 inches thick or more
I have a thick desk and the other clamps were not wide enough. These clamps are perfect because you can adjust the height of the tray and the height of the clamps. I just wish they had that was a little longer for larger keyboards. I use a Kinesis and have the 2 keyboard sections further apart than a normal ergonomic keyboard and a separate 10 key. So I had to get the mouse pad one too but they both work for the space and separation I need for ergonomic positioning.

Perfect for use with desktop HOTAS setup
For you desktop flight sim / space sim enthusiasts using a HOTAS system on your desk, this may be the solution you need to prevent reaching a mile to use your keyboard. If you are familiar with the Hikig HOTAS mounting system using the aluminum profile mounting system, then this is the same concept. I flipped the keyboard holding bracket to raise the height. The quick release is the same type as the Hikig and makes it really convenient when you are not flying to get the entire setup out of the way. The keyboard tray profile even looks like it was made for the X56 HOTAS with a cutout as shown in my included picture. The only minor issue I have, is that my mouse does not move smoothly on the powdercoating finish but easily solved with a mousepad

Not for thin desks, even within the measurements given
The clamp kept loosening and falling down. I know my desk is on the thinner side so at first I thought it was that, but the screw also kept loosening. This became unusable after a month as this wore the padding off too. I got this because the way my desk was built I needed it to only have one clamp in the middle, but this did not work.

Very Solid, Well Made Adjustable Keyboard Tray
I have a small desktop for my computers and space is at a premium. If I need to write something, I have to move my keyboard out of the way. The Metal Clamp-on Adjustable Computer Keyboard Tray seemed like a great way to gain some much needed desktop space without having to rearrange everything.First thing I noticed when the box arrived, it was heavy! The keyboard tray and all the brackets are made from almost 1/8 thick metal that is painted a nice, slightly textured satin black color. The adjustable, slotted rail that the keyboard tray and mounting bracket attach to is made of aluminum, painted to match the other parts. The mounting holes on the keyboard tray are countersunk so that the three mounting screws are flush with tray surface, very nice touch. All the mounting hardware is included. All larger mounting bolts use a Allen wrench to install them, which is also included in the hardware package. You will need to provide your own medium Phillips head screwdriver for some of the smaller screws. The whole thing went together quickly. But it did take a little less then 5 minutes to mount and adjust the back mounting bracket and clamp assembly to fit the shelve the keyboard tray would be mounted on. Once adjusted and firmly mounted to the shelve, it was quick and easy to adjust the keyboard tray (just 2 front mounted screws) to the height I wanted. Once set to the height you like, no need to readjust again.Once mounted, I now have plenty of free space under the keyboard tray for doing hand written notes and anything else I may need the extra desk space for. If I need more space, just simply loosen the clamp on the mounting bracket and remove the keyboard tray with the keyboard. Takes less than a minute to remove or put back. This is a very solid keyboard tray. It does not move at all while your hands are resting the palm rest of the keyboard while typing. I like it so much, I will be getting another one for my wife's home office. This is a solid 5 star product.

You get what you pay for.
Decent for the price.I ordered this item as it seemed to be the only mountable solution to my work table that had a lip most solutions couldn't mount over. The quality of the parts was ok, and it was clear that the parts were leftovers that were cobbled together from other products the company may offer. there wasn't a uniformity in the system's setup and the actual knob that tighten's doesn't even match the color of the rest of the system.Bottom line: You get what you pay for.

Works fine but a little narrow for ergonomic keyboards
This is a too narrow for most ergonomic keyboards--especially the kind with the padded wrist rest attached. I like to prop up the little feet underneath the front of the keyboard, but the feet jut over the front edge, so that's a no-go. Also, it would be nice if this tray was wider, to accommodate a mouse. This is probably fine for a regular keyboard, if you're ok with not being able to put a mouse on the tray.

Sturdy tray!
Very nice keyboard tray! Many desks do not come with one built in anymore, so these clamp on trays are very nice. Not only can I protect the keyboard when not in use, but it also helps with keeping a better posture while I type. This truly is a great product.
