Conclave - Blu-ray + Digital

Mystery! Intrigue! Deception! Betrayal! Plot twists! All leading to a climax and conclusion I did not see coming! The starring actors and supporting actors, extras, directing, costumes, cinematography, set design and motion picture soundtrack is exceptional and of the highest caliber. Each time I watch this movie I am transported into a world I know little about. I am privy to the political maneuverings, private discussions and personal self-examination that takes place at the 'Conclave'. With each viewing I notice significant details I had missed before helping me to fill in more pieces of the puzzle of 'Conclave'.

I received my movie in the mail in excellent condition!! I played the movie and the audio and video both came in clear sound and video came in clear robust color picture through out the movie!!I am in extremely pleased with my purchase!! The movie came out in the theater when I had surgery so I ordered the BluRay DVD to watch at home! It is fantastic! My husband and I loved the cinematography and acting. It is quite similar to the book, which we both read too, except for details at the end. I loved the movie so much that I bought my mother a copy of the same BluRay DVD for Mother's Day!

Shoes the inner workings of the Vatican. Particularly interesting in light of the recent election of the new Pope.

I enjoyed the movie, showing the machinations of the process of electing a new Pope. Somewhat reminiscent of the portrait in The Godfather, Part III. I am a non-practicing Roman Catholic and have experience of other religions but follow my own path. It showed the Cardinals for what they are: human. Spiritual as they may be, they have wants and needs like anyone else, selfless & selfish desires in their deeds, and human emotions. It is informative yet, one must keep in mind that it is fictional. The twist with the ending vote was surprising, yet, not a problem in my eyes.

This is an excellent “fictional” insight into the papal selection.I put this equal to Shoes of the Fisherman.I suspect the current selection of Pope Leo was not nearly as intriguing.
