JUMBO SUNFLOWER SEEDS, Original, 16-Ounce (Pack of 6)

I am a sunflower seed maniac. I love them and eat them all the time. These seeds are awesome. They are larger sized and firm so they don't splinter when cracking them. They have less salt than David & Sons and are much much better quality. They have a well-roasted nutty texture and have replaced my Kroger sunflower seeds as my almost favorite. I only say almost favorite because if I had unsalted seeds and these I would mix them to get a perfect blend. They do have less salt than regular seeds, but I overindulge enough that my mouth is still fried from salt after going at them for a few days. Overall they are the best quality at the best value.... and 6 pounds?! I've had help, but I'm almost halfway through them. Don't miss out!

I am a new customer of Jumbo Sunflower Seeds and just had to send you this email to let you know how delighted I am with your product. I am a 68 year old grandmother and have been a sunflower seed connoisseur since my early teens. I have to admit that my usual go-to brand has been something other than Jumbo, but when I was unable to find my usual brand, I turned to Amazon and ordered six 16 oz. packages in hopes that I’d find a suitable substitute. Much to my delight, I am THRILLED with your Jumbo sunflower seeds. I love the fact that they are lower in sodium than my usual brand also. I will definitely be purchasing your product again.

These are the best seeds I have ever tried. I love how massive they are, and I prefer less sodium in them. Not only will they leave my mouth not feeling like I ate sand, but less sodium is better overall for blood pressure. I've already made 3 orders, and will continue to do. So far, all the bags I have received, have had a good expiration date on them, months in advance, but non have had any weird taste or anything.

Maybe I just got a defective batch or something, but nearly 1 in every 3 seeds are completely empty — just shell. It’s getting kinda ridiculous. I bought 6 backs from the bundle so I’m really hoping they aren’t all like this. I’m serious. It’s like every third seed is empty.

Great Value and low salt! These have less salt and better value than David's. They always arrive well packaged and intact. The quality has gotten better. I found a long string in one package and at first a lot of stem-like pieces. A couple of bags had a bunch of empty shells. The bag closes easily but it is not airtight.

They are “ok”. Not much taste and almost no salt, at all. They were fresh and crunchy, but I won’t be buying again.

Ordered a 6 pack of the 10.5 ounce to try out. Wow! So good and big! They are easy to crack. The seeds inside are big. They are lower in sodium, but have a the perfect amount of salt. I am only eating these sun seeds from now on. Everyone who grabs a hand full wants to know where I got them. Now I order these ONE POUND bags. The only negative thing is that it doesn't have a zip closure, so I have spilled out half a bag twice! Now I have learned to put them in a zip lock bag. Trust me. DO THAT OR RISK LOSING SOME OF YOUR PRECIOUS SEEDS! AND IT WILL HAPPEN! Another suggestion: when you are down to the last pack, order another 6 pack or you will start having withdrawals! Is it just me or have name brand sunflower seeds been getting increasingly salty? I used to be able to take a long trip and eat David's or Planter's for hours on end. Now, after 20 minutes my mouth is pasty, my lips are covered in salt and my taste buds are tasteless. I have been looking for several years for a replacement that I could again munch constantly without raising my blood pressure. These seeds are the ones I've been looking for. They are called 'low sodium' but frankly, they taste as good as the name brands used to taste.
