Ive been on the lookout for a good size dutch oven and so glad i came across this. I love making my own bread that is fresh, warm, and smells amazing. It is cast iron so if youre new to using this, just know you have to care for it and oil it when not in use and it will not rust. Once i started using cast iron, i never looked back. It comes with everything you need from start to finish to make homemade bread. You can't beat the price, cast iron is expensive on its own but with this set you get the good heavy Dutch oven plus all of the accessory tools you need. She used it to make bread for their first meal in their new house and everyone was impressed with it. It was pre-seasoned so she could start using it immediately. The silicone straps make removal simple, no need to try to tip the loaf out, you just lift straight up and out. The bread was delicious. You can also you the Dutch oven for stews, soups, etc. The lid doubles as a griddle pan.
