I'm happy with them.
HEAVY, BUT DOES A GOOD JOB, I've had my two batteries for over a year now and although they are heavy, they are not unmanageable. They work on all my Makita products, especially the chain saw. I use the Makita charger and so far I am very pleased with them. I'm about to order two more and I'm hoping they are of the same quality.

Good battery
Had this battery for a couple years now been a good battery no problems last quite a while. Pretty good run time however, with most knock off batteries, the battery level indicator is not accurate. I wish Makita made a high power battery. Overall, I do recommend this battery.

Definitly not 9AH, but stil good value.
These are definitely not on par with the name brand or deliver the rated Amp Hour life. The batteries are huge, and almost 2x the weight of my 5AH name brand batteries so be ware of that as wll. I'm using them in a 36V pair on a leaf blower. The name brand 5AH batteries last 15-20 min on average. So these should give me 27-36 min of life. I'm getting more like 18-25min range. So these are equivalent to about a 6AH name brand battery. LiON batteries sometimes take a few charge cycles to give a full life, but after about a dozen charges I swear I'm getting a few min less, not more. they also tend to over heat and shut down at about 2/3 discharge where my name brand ones do not. If I give it a couple min break half way though they don't do this. If they do shut down, wait about 5 min and they will come back to life again with the meter changing from 0% to, in my case, about 40%. That said these are also 1/3 the price of the name brand so it's still a good deal. I wouldn't get these for your main batteries but for a back up or additional pair they are a good value.

Nice lil power upgrade
100% charge lasts forever, went weeks without using this and was still at full capacity. I'm not a big contractor or daily avid construction type user, but I like to do many projects big and small over time. Mostly for exercise and to keep busy. With my slew of Makita tools, its nice to know theres a long lasting and durable battery that I can rely on and more than likely wont see the charger till after my project is completed. Sometimes for weeks on end, I'm retired so I take alot of breaks lol. When not tooling around, I use it to keep my cell phone topped off during 2 to 4 day storm power outages. and to keep that Bluetooth music playing 4 or 6 hours longer than the onboard battery can. Basically if you have and use Makita tools, this ones a win/win purchase in my eyes. Aside from the USB charger/flashlight, I've used this on the router, the sawz-all, drill, grass shears and circular saw. Been using off and on for a few months now and its only seen the charger once. Doubt I'll need a second 9AH, but maybe just to have extra assurance on standby for later power outages. And you cant beat the price, worth every penny.

Ok as a regular battery but it's not high capacity, i bet it has weights in it lol
I dont think im getting the full rated power out of this. Also the power indicator always shows 100% even when its about dead. This is probably crap but works ok as a regular battery just not actually extended.

Charged from 57% to 100% & works well so far. I'll run a 2nd test time on my mower and update again.
Update 3Jul'23: Great results, these batteries ran my mower (DOUBLE the time of my 6.0Ah batteries) for a full hour, instead of the expected 45 minutes. (However... I had also removed the bagging baffle from under the mower deck, sharpened the blades and ran it only on "whisper quiet mode" slower blade speed, so it wasn't really a fair comparison against my 6.0Ah batteries. That said I'll run another comparison with the 6.0Ah batteries first to see if they last longer than only the 1/2 hour under the same conditions. Will do another update after that! 👍 Initial Review: Charged up fine and worked well on the leaf blower. Next I'll mow the lawn with them and see how long they last compared to the 6.0Ah batteries I currently use but only last about a 1/2 hour. I expect these should last about 45 minutes, and will come back to update and let you know the test outcome. Good luck! Mine are working good... so far👍

Big batteries when makita won’t make them.
It’s a shame that makita doesn’t make high capacity batteries. I know some makita tools can’t fit anything bigger than the 2row batteries, but these 3row fit the dual battery rear handle saw perfectly. The quality is actually pretty good. Sometimes they charge on the makita charger and sometimes they don’t. I tested the runtime on a led light and these ran for 4.75hrs. The authentic makita 6.0 ran 3hrs on the same light. Overall for the price they are good.

Update: Was initially happy, but now it won't charge!
UPDATE: After using this lightly for about 2 years, I found it won't charge anymore in my Makita charger. I also read about another buyer having it catch fire while charging - which is the classic thermal runaway condition that rechargeable Lithium batteries have. The seller most likely cheated on the BMS circuitry to protect the battery from causing a fire, or even omitted it. There is zero chance that they did not know about that because they have to figure out how to get it to fool the Makita charger. Very disappointed. OLD REVIEW: I have several Makita tools that use the LXT battery configuration, but I really wanted to get some batteries with much longer runtime. This Waitley 9AH battery does just that. I knew already that the 4AH Makita battery will give slightly over 4 hours of use with my portable Makita fan, so the fan made a good test bed. It ran for nearly 10 hours, which confirms the 9AH rating. The only problem that I have experienced was that the plastic tabs on the battery do not align well with my Makita single charger, and required a forceful sideways push to get plugged in. But it does plug in and charges fine, but causes my charger to cycle a few times at the end to complete (charger issue). I am going to get the Makita 2 battery blower now since this battery will give it decent runtime. Very happy to find this!
