It taste like dirt and is spicy, but you get over the spice part pretty quickly. I found that it’s very good with honey. The honey helps take off the awful taste. But it’s worth it. It helps reduce acne. It provides a kind of euphoric effect. But it doesn’t make you triple balls like I thought it was going to which is sad but the name kind of leads you in that way. But I’m still satisfied with it.

Unable to find my tea masala I usually get from International stores, I searched for something as authentic as possible, as every supermarket-bought chai is either lacking, too cinnamon-y, or misses the complexity of the spice blend. This, although soluble, is quite balanced , and not heavy on the cardamon IMO, (t's clearly there, that's all) with pepper, ginger, and black tea. It was a good surprise to find a wooden measuring cup inside the tin (no plastic!? Incredible!!). It dissolves very easily, the recommended dose for 8 oz of water is very good for flavor, but I can see how some will find it strong. It is perfect for me. I do not enjoy weak masala. The point is to enjoy the fire-y spices, and I can with this brand. A bit expensive, yet quality.

Not good at all. $16 for this little can; not worth it. You can buy 4 boxes of the tea bags from grocery store and taste better. Can hardly taste the clove and cardamom. Taste more like just ginger tea.

Suggested portion size, did not satisfy my chai flavor expectations. I had to triple it, which makes only 22 servings per tin in my case and prohibitive price wise. The flavor otherwise is good. A wooden spoon was also advertised my package did not have one.

Way too peppery for me. The quality of the grind is fine but I'm afraid I'm a wimpy american old lady. 🤭 So for me I will buy the chai not marked Masala. 🤷‍♀️. Live and learn.

Soooo good, I took the time to write a review. I’ve had overseas chai gifted to me by my university friends and family - this comes really close to the same flavor profile. The great thing is - it’s just the spices, ready to add into hot water. The container is also travel friendly. I usually steep my chai at home over the stove and use a lot of tea bags to get it strong enough. I’ve tried many tea bag brands - even other instant powdered chai (BigTrain) and this is the best in my opinion. With other brands that pre-add milk products and sugar - you end up having an overly sweet and milky drink. This allows you to make it as strong as you want and then if you want sugar and cream, you can control that as well. 10/10. I’m looking forward to trying other products from this company.
