The pack I received had 26 grams of sugar and it shows in the pictures 5 grams ?What’s up with that

there are two different formulas, the 5 grams of sugar one has fake sugar(the kind in diet sodas) so it has a lower sugar content. So that one is 5grams. The older(and the better formula in my opinion) has real sugar no chemical sweetener so it has 26grams of sugar. So if you want less sugar and you are alright with artificial sweetner you want the 14oz bottles. If you want real sugar but have to accept more of it, then you want the smaller bottles.

Why does the 11.5 oz say it contains 26g of sugar? But nutrition label says otherwise

I ran into a similar question yesterday. The 14oz's label says 5 grams of sugar and customers were saying this is a recent change for Core Power. It's not natural sugar - it's an artificial sweetener. The 11.5 oz bottles do list 26 grams of sugar, unfortunately, but we now know cane suger is better for you than artificials. So, I changed my order yesterday and went for the smaller 11.5 oz. I just picked mine up and it definitely says 26 grams of sugar. Customers were saying the artificial sweetener had changed the product's taste and not in a good way. I only use straight stevia at home now. And if I buy a soda I check the back for cane sugar vs high fructose corn syrup or artificial. Long answer but I hope it helps. I'll hhave to buy a 14 oz bottle and see if I notice the change in taste.

What kind of protein is used in this? Is it whey?

The upvoted answer is the incorrect one. This is a milk-based product and that is where the protein comes from, so yes, it's whey.
