Special Forces Shovel

This is an amazing product. Very strong and arrives with a very sharp edge. If you intend to use this for backpacking/bushcraft/hiking, etc., I would strongly advise the purchase of the sheath as well in order to protect your other equipment. Good for digging and it is so robust that, with care, it can be used as a light axe. The blade is very strong, as is the handle, but if the handle should be damaged it is very simple to replace. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

I love this shovel but not the price as I've since seen it cheaper elsewhere. Used it to hack down a clump of thin trees that grew around a pole we needed to work on, took it home and split logs with it for the stove. When splitting the logs the end of the handle started to fracture behind the blade where I was forcing it through a tough knot in the log but I shamfered the broken part off with a knife so it is now flush with the back of the spade. (See photo). It is a spade that is as good as a machete that you can carry without alarming the general public. Dig a small hole with it... beat your way through some overgrown woodland with it.., or beat you way through a rough violent neighbourhood with it LOL.

Shovel itself seems pretty solid, edges reasonably sharp out of the box, did have an area of pain on the shaft of shovel whhere it meets the handle, looks as if it has been scraped up against someting, came wrapped well so must have been from before it was packed...only to leep in the car so not a biggie but did mean it dropped a star!

Great bit of kit and well used all the time, including throwing. This bad boy comes with a very sharp edge to it and can be used for any purpose. Definitely recommend this item.

very good all round , solid construction and sharp , has replaced my axe , folding shovel , and machette .

It's a useful tool that has replacement handles. Can be used as an axe. Comes in sharp.

love it, the only down side is that the head of my shovel was bent but im not sure if its supposed to be bent on one side? also the screws that hold the head on are not straight but thats just me being picky.
