We've added dash cams to all of our vehicles now to ensure documentation of potential road hazards. This cam works about the same as the others, overall being effective at capturing the drive in good quality and wide lens. Like other cameras, I do wish this was connected via bluetooth rather than wifi for app integration, but it's not a huge deal either way. I just make sure to not auto-connect to that wifi every time I'm in the car - only when needed. The camera has ongoing looping so you don't need to manually empty the SD card (not included by the way - that was disappointing). The lens is wide enough to capture the entire front of the vehicle and it presents a pretty clear image. Overall, I would recommend this to others.

Overall good product. Video and photo quality are good enough. Video quality is a bit inconsistent. In high light, overexposure can be a problem. In low light, bright headlights can lead to over exposure. In true darkness, exposure is okay but quality can be problematic. Clear sharpening processing happening which can make well lit video look a bit jagged. Overall good image capture though. Fairly certain it cant see above 64gb cards. I currently have a 128gb card installed and it caps out at 300 videos captured at around 200mb each... aka about 60gb. Occasionally get errors about card speed, especially when in warmer weather, but otherwise no issues. Card installed is the spec outlined in the manual, if not better. Auto start/stop recording feature is nice. Helps save space on device. If the flashing light is annoying to you, it is able to be toggled via the application, which works surprisingly well! Plenty of options to choose from, including resolution changes, microphone status, date/time settings, etc.. My biggest complaint is the power cable. The connector is common, however the 20V cigarette lighter plug is hard wired to the power cable... this means if the cable fails, good luck. I have not yet tested to see if my own cables would work with the device on a different plug, but I have had other budget products have significant issues in the past, so be advised. Otherwise, for most cars, the cable is long enough to be snaked trough the headliner and door frame, and plugged in. In a modern CN7 Elantra the placement of the 20V in the front is less than desirable but it does have the length! Overall good. Some areas could be better, but for a budget camera device this does a lot right.
