Provides good feedback as you work on grip strength improvement.
Instructions suggest use of a thin glove. Haven’t tried that yet, but might make it a bit more comfortable. It is smooth plastic at the grip. Seems to operate as advertised. Working on improving grip strength for deadlifts and heavy dumbbells and this unit provides useful feedback as to progress.

Strong grip needed
I gave this five stars because it is a good product. However, if you are a woman who is struggling with strengthen her hands, you would probably be better off with something that’s not quite as strong and hard to operate as this. This is really for a guy. However, it is built well and it’ll work great for a guy.

Bought this to have fun and cause I wanted it. Brought to my welding class and everyone enjoyed competing for the highest number, including the instructor

Risk of Injury
I injured myself using this because it is poorly made. Do not use this device. Use one that a physical therapist has, in their presence, so that you wouldn't do the same thing I did and take months to just heal a stubborn injury in the arm.

Works great
Was able to show my 2 boys in their mid-20's who work out several times a week old man strength is a real thing. I destroyed them in grip strength and I haven't worked out in 20 years. Just hate and anger workouts. This thing is great.

I bought it as part of my new health regime, acknowledging that grip strength has a direct relationship to life longevity. I also bought it to compete with others in the family. Shameless showing off. The grip strength is easy to use with settings for each user. I keep it close at hand for daily strength checking. Way overboard.
