EDELRID Aramid Cord

I love these slings. I have the 30cm and the 90cm. Both are excellent. The 20 is particularly useful as a quick drawn sling (doubled up it is 15cm, but can then be used as an extender at full length. The other excellent use is as a prusic to protect your abseil or even an emergency ascent device. They are so slim and light compared to normal slings I do think these slings will gradually replace all of my slings.

Great quality as described. Delivered on time. Read a review before i purchased that said it was a little stiff for knotting however I did not find that to be the case and also when it got wet it was really flexible. Definitely worth a purchase

Perfect utility Prusik loop. Great for extending work position lanyards or narrowing flip lines.

Having tried to buy cheaper else where and been sold the wrong size I would recommend using a proper climbing shop. V12 know what they are doing and you probably already know that the product is great.

I was hounded for a review of this via email and Alexa notification, it's too small to be an effective prusik, probably only useful for fiddly threads. I'd just go with dyneema next time.

I like this sling. The cord material is noticeably stiffer than climbing rope, and has a very high friction surface. It makes it a little more challenging to put a tight Prusik hitch in place. But once set up, it is confidence-inspiringly secure connection, with the side effect of slightly higher sliding friction when moving the hitch on the main rope. The splice in the loop has a narrow diameter and appears very well secured, but the 10cm of the loop that comprise the splice is not very flexible, so it must be positioned correctly for proper operation of the hitch. I have not had the chance to use it in the field much yet, but it seems very well made and likely to be quite durable.
