Excellent for the pool!
Love these for swimming laps. I don't like to use them outside the pool because the sound will be pretty soft and trebly. They sound dramatically better when you're wearing earplugs, and even better when you're underwater. Battery live is solid. The only downside is that data transfer is pretty slow, and the controls are a bit awkward. For example, if you want to raise the volume, you press once. But if you press twice, you go to the next folder. So if you want to raise the volume twice, you have to wait a little bit between each press. It took me a while to figure out how to get my playlists playing in the same order. Check the manual, you need to use a certain naming convention for the tracks.

Best sounding Bone Conduction Ive heard, but...
I tried the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, and these sound WAY better and play much louder. They sound a lot fuller than the Shokz, with airy highs, natural mids, no tinnyness, and surprising richness in the lows for Bone Conduction. Amd there is actually some bass with these! Be aware that Bone Conduction is never going to sound as good as in ear, on ear, or over ear headphones. But for what they are they are quite good, hence the 5 stars. They also fit with a little more clamping force to ensure good Bone conduction, which wasnt the case with the Shokz on my head. Plus, you get onboard music storage in addition to Bluetooth, and they are fully waterproof for swimming. The drawbacks are, slightly less comfortable and less unobtrusive than the Shokz, and you can really feel the low end physically pulsing into the side of your head, and there is a good but of tickling sensation from the sound vibrations. I didnt have that with the Shokz, but that's obviously the tradeoff for having more volume and more bass. If you might be bothered by the tickling and pulsing sensation, and sound quality is less important to you, then you might prefer the Shokz.

great swim headphones
This headset works exactly as described. Great sound while swimming laps, but sound does improve with provided earplugs. It works so well that I actually had to buy a second one for my wife to swim with, too. The bluetooth connection allows it to function as an external headset for my iPhone, and that seems to also work well. I've used it for five swims without having to charge yet, so battery appears to holding a good charge. Easy to change the volume, and comfortable to wear.

Bone conducting ear phones
Really good for swimming, lower quality sound for anything else. If i push the pieces against my face a little harder sound gets better. Adjustments to make it fit tighter may help immensely.

Good alternative when you need to hear for safety but want to listen to music/podcasts
I primarily use these to listen to podcasts when working around the house or driving through town. They are easy to use and fit quite comfortably. They work even better when I am mowing the lawn and using earplugs. The earplugs seal out the loud noise obviously, but it also creates a better conduction connection with your skin so you "hear" what is coming from the headphones better. I do not use them for swimming, but I believe they would operate in the same way under those conditions. The battery life seems to be adequate. I only use them for short periods of time, and I do not need to charge them very often. I was able to Bluetooth connect them to my computer and use them as a headset, however they would automatically turn themselves off to save battery life every five minutes or so. It couldn't detect me using it with sound and voice call active, so they automatically turned off. For this reason, I would not recommend as a PC headset. I was hoping this would be an option so I could still hear my family if they needed anything.

A New & Welcomed Approach to Headphones
The bone conduction headphones are great for those who don't want - or need - over the ear phones. As a 60-something gym rat with decreased hearing, I found it hard to get traditional "head phones" (I've tried them all) loud enough - which wasn't helping my already limited hearing. Bone conduction "headphones" use a different approach all together and have the added benefit of being waterproof. Simple to use, and easily adjusted, these open earphones are great!

I am new to bone conduction headphones. This is my first set. Arrived early. Nicely packaged. Surprisingly beautiful sound for something that sits outside the ears. Adding tracks to the built-in drive was fairly simple. I have yet to use this for swimming. Overall, I'm happy with the H2O MULTI-SPORT TRI 2

Much, much louder than the other well known brand, i like the weight because it helps the headphone stay on, they feel snug and secure on my head, also like the silicone band they supply as this makes the fit perfect. Wish they had supplied more than one. Now to the one annoying thing, they turn off incredibly quickly when using Bluetooth and you have paused the track, wish they allowed you to disconnect or at least a longer time before completely turning headphones off. The voice is annoying and I wish the setting went to Bluetooth first instead of playing from memory. All in all a good buy and I would repurchase

It was good until 6 months later the magnetic charging unit broke, tried everything as advised. Nothing worked , very disappointed, will now have to start all over again.
