Helped me get rid of my black beard algae! Be careful not to overdose or it will kill your fish!

Not even close to the same results as a gas co2 dosing system. It foes work well as an algeacide.

It is a form of glutaraldehyde. It is toxic to humans in large amounts, and you must be careful about not getting it in your eyes etc. Its use is very controversial, as some believe it kills inverts, though many others say it doesn't. Plants can, in fact, use it as they would carbon for growth. It is an effective algicide. As a side note, I can confirm that it kills lawns. I poured a 5 gallon bucket of tank water with glutaraldehyde in it on my lawn and killed a patch. But like I said, if you know what it is and dose it appropriately, it does do what Seachem claims it does.

This product works well to kill algae. Anubias subsequently grew better after the algae was eliminated from its leaves. However, my elodea died. If your goal is supplying carbon dioxide to your aquarium, then purchase one of the many carbon dioxide injection systems. Although Flourish Excel worked well for removing algae from anubias, it is only a temporary measure. Long term algae control requires other means. Yellow Cichlid and guppies didn't seem to be affected by application of this product

Great product

When i first opened the package i noticed the bottle looked dirty, it had a sticky residue on the outside and smelled kinda bad. when I opened it the safety seal just lifted up, it wasn't sealed at all which leaked in the packaging.

Un gran producto de la mejor marca de productos para acuariofilia. Un aporte necesario de CO2 para los acuarios plantados (si están muy plantados es preferible un sistema de inyección de CO2 por bombona) e, incluso, aditándolo por la noche, funciona como un gran antialgas. Muy recomendable!
