I have had a total knee replacement and had been using a bathrobe belt to help lift my leg, althoughthis helped it wasn't ideal as it kept slipping and wasn't very comfortable. Buying this has made a massive difference in aiding my recovery. I can get in and out of bed with relative ease and it has also helped with my physio exercises. By lifting my leg (for the exercises that I couldn't manage) and then slightly slackening the tension and holding my leg in place I have built up the muscle strength. I am overjoyed that I can now achieve these exercises without any help. I highly recommend this item for this purpose x

I have arthritis in my arms and found this grabber to be too heavy. Possibly a shorter grabber would have been better. It's strong and very well made I like that it folds

Bought this for my elderly mum, really handy piece of kit allowing her to get herself into bed. The foot hold is rigid so stays open allowing her to insert her foot easily enough and then plenty of loops to aid with lifting the leg.
