Very high quality, goog looking color, and solid bar grip while being easy to use. Great product, price could be considered steep but compared to similar devices I have used in many commercial gyms this product has so far demonstrated a more firm grip of the bar. To be fair though I have not gone past 305lvs on bar so I can't comment on higher performance levels.

These collars are solid. Just locking them on my Olympic bar gives me a feeling of confidence that nothing is going to move until I move it. I am able to put these on with one hand when the bar is in a rack with weights on the bar (squat, bench, overhead press). I am not able to put these on with one hand with deadlift unless the bar is resting on the jack. Without the weight of the plates against the bar, the bar will spin when you try to lock the collar. They are heavy. I missed a PR earlier this week (a failed bench press) and I am 100% blaming the weight of these collars (lol because my ego is too fragile to think it had anything to do with me 😆 ). If I had hit that lift, I would absolutely be adding the 1.42 pounds to the total. The magnet works well on all of the metal racks in my gym. I treat them like they are made out of glass by storing them in a small vinyl pouch while they are transported in my gym bag. I hope to keep them looking new for a long time

Honestly, I'm impressed. These are high quality barbell collars. They have a wonderful, knurled exterior. The red really pops. And it's such a cool design. Simply slide it onto the barbell and turn the collar clockwise, and the interior of the collar tightens. Turn counter-clockwise to loosen. Once you're done with it, you can simply slap it onto your rack. It's magnetic, so you don't have to consume any attachment space to store it. Very fast. Maybe I'm just behind the curve on this one, but I think these are so cool. I've never seen anything like this before. We'll see how durable they are for things like deadlifts, but so far I'm happy with this purchase.

I wanted to love these collars ... they seem so innovative and I appreciate not having to "clamp down" or "unclamp" the collars. I also appreciate that they have magnets to stick on the rack while you are changing weights. BUT, I DON'T like the gripping strength of these collars. I used them on deadlifts and dropping the bar would often pop them loose. Similarly if you use them for any Olympic lifting like snatches or cleans, if you drop the bar from even waist height ... they pop loose. Since that is the majority of the type of lifting I do ... they are useless for me. So, if you're going to be doing squats, bench, shoulder press, etc. these will be fine. Anything where you might drop the bar ... not so great.

This product is one of those surprising, nice gifts you can make or receive, and be sure they will be liked. I love quality things, and this is such a thing, paint, material, weight, just top class. On top of this, it is very practical too. I have the other kind of clamps which is nice but requires clamping and unclamping every weight change. With this one, this rotation to tighten and untighten is easy, and smooth. Maybe this saves just a fraction of second, but when you barely breath, this is nice to have.

So far so good they hold up for my lifts still some movement but nothing crazy. Easy on and off thats what I like the most definitely buying another pair in a different color.
