I have tried just about every deer repellent on the market and this is the only one that has worked for me! I usually transfer it to a pump sprayer although it is ready to use as is (comes with a little hand squeeze sprayer). The product lasts me the whole season and is a good value for the money. I have not had any trouble with leakage. I have bought this many times and should have written a review a long time ago. I once accidentally bought Deer Stopper II. It is not the same! Stick with the original.

We love our deer, but hate that they eat our plants. Our local garden center recommended the Deer Stopper so we bought a small container to try. Believe it or not, it actually worked! Came to Amazon to buy a larger container. The deer will not eat the plants that are sprayed. It does seem to last several weeks. But, as directed, if it rains, you need to re apply. That is really no big deal for us. It is better than chicken wire around your plants! It does have a strong smell when you first apply (so do not stand down wind!) However, the smell does not last long. It is not like you notice every time you pass by the plants. Great product.

This product does work but the sprayer is cheap china container product that does NOT spray. It sprays 3 times then quits and you have to force the sprayer handle back open so it can spray again. If you see a product that uses these types of gallon sprayers avoid buying the product. This is the third container like this (this product and others) that has failed for me for various reasons and I have to move the liquid into a more reliable container to use. You are better off buying the refill gallons and use your own sprayer. Product works great at keeping the deer away. These type of sprayers are junk.

This product works! The deer were feasting on my azaleas so much they nearly killed them. Surely I'll have no blooms next Spring. But I did order this product. which came quickly, and it worked to stop the deer from chompling them to the very ground. The major draw back with this order is that the spray nozzel is cr@p, and the length of the hose is maybe 4". LOL What a joke. My hand got so tired of trying to get sufficient spray onto my shrubs, that I skipped the blackberry bush, and the deer feasted on that one the next night. I've had to order a gallon garden sprayer-- I can't deal with this pittiful sprayer any more. smh pfft. YES, I WOULD buy this product "refill" again.

Ok, I’m always skeptical of product like this but I needed a solution for the deer in our neighborhood. I spent a lot of money on the hostas in our beds and the deer had made a buffet out of them. There were a variety of products on Amazon but understanding my skepticism, I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money. This gallon container was twenty bucks so I thought I’d take a gamble. It’s a hosta saver folks. I followed the directions except I’ve sprayed every two weeks. This performs as advertised. All the leaves are intact and now they’ve all bloomed. Money well-spent.

After 2 weeks contents clogged and ruined the sprayer head completely. Product separates badly and will clog the nozzle every time if not shaken thoroughly before use. It is stated in the instructions. But don't forget. It'll still coagulate and ruin the nozzle after a few weeks no matter what you do. There's no filter on the bottom of the pickup tube. So the product sprayer assembly will be ruined after a month.. That being said I've been putting this repellent along my property line to prevent a neighbor from killing the deers on my property. He's using deer feeders to try to lure them in. I put up trail cams all along the property line and since the first treatment of this I've only seen deers there one time within the first week of application. That was months ago and if not seen another deer since. So the compound works fantastic. But the sprayer was useless quickly. I just loosen the lid and sprinkle droplets now along the property lines every time it rains to refresh it every few weeks. Still working fantastic.

We have several dozen azaleas on our wooded acre-and-a-half property. We also have a small herd of about 10 deer that routinely traverse our space, and they love to eat azaleas in the winter. I spray Deer Stopper once a month through the winter and early spring, and the deer graze elsewhere! The smell is not unpleasant (mint, rosemary) and it lasts even through rainy days. I've used this for years, as have my parents. I highly recommend it!

We bought Deer Stopper and found that it was unusable--presumably has set on a shelf for awhile and some ingredients had turned to sludge at the bottom and wouldn't mix; clogged the sprayer. Even though we were a little past the return date (we still had some to use before we went to this jug) I called product support and the phone was answered by Ashley who immediately sent out a replacement. Such service and integrity is to be applauded. I would by from this company again, knowing they stand behind their sales. Oh, and yes, from past experience, Deer Stopper works pretty well.
