Part of my new year resolutions involved quitting my overpriced gym membership and investing in home gym equipment. I had been looking for options for a Smith machine and it was my daughter who found this on Amazon. Compared with other options I had been looking at, the price seemed excellent value and I have confidence in ordering from Amazon and the protection they offer if things aren’t quite as described. The delivery was an interesting one as I got a good workout helping the driver unload from van - not quite sure what he would have done if I wasn’t available as I would certainly say it required 2 people to carry some of the boxes. Assembly was a little bit daunting when I first looked at he number of pieces but once the various nuts and bolts were identified, it wasn’t that difficult. Ultimately I am very pleased with the result. It is very sturdy, has plenty of attachments and I can perform just about every exercise I can think of. The safety features are great and I have confidence working out alone even with heavy weights. Very pleased and I would highly recommend!

This is a lovely gym set it has everything you need and more wasn’t that hard to put together but just remember it’s heavy so once you build it you won’t be able to move it without other people but it works and makes working out feel better so I am happy with it will update after I’ve had it a few more months

Overall this is a great machine. It went together well and does everything advertised. When ordering please remember you are getting a lot for your money, so don’t be expecting a commercial gym quality machine. This is defiantly a home gym standard construction and in my opinion the build quality is good enough, but it does reflect its very reasonable price. It is very good but there are a couple of areas where it could be better. Chiefly, the quality of the accessories. Honestly, they’re just nasty. Some of the links are even made of plastic. I’d of rather paid an extra £100 and had decent accessories. Another niggle is the fact that the smith machine bar doesn’t go low enough. If you’re using a bench to press there is a possibility that it won’t drop enough for you to do the full range of movement. As a result, I am considering removing the springs from mine. And the dip bars… they’re really close together. I may modify those as well. Despite the above, I do recommend this machine. Delivery was very fast (ordered Friday afternoon and it arrived Monday morning). You will need to help the delivery driver when it arrives. The boxes are big and HEAVY!!

This has been an absolutely brilliant bit of kit. I have four boys, with the older ones getting seriously into weight training and this has allowed us all to train regularly. Wide range of possibilities and good for my wife too. Took a few hours to build but very straightforward

Very impressed with the quality of the product. Very well built for a home gym, feels like a commercial product in use. Some issues with initial delivery but quickly resolved and sorted out.

Great product especially if you want an all in 1 machine at home. Saves so much time going to the gym and back. Product quality is good and managed to fit it in a tight space. Took about 4 hours to build all by my self and all tools are included. Manish was really helpful with any issues and really helpful with a replacement which was not the companies fault. Would defo buy again from strongway!

Great machine for home workouts! My partner and I assembled it in about 4 hours (including fixing one small mistake we made along the way!). I’ve done four workouts since setting it up, and I’m so glad I decided to invest in this machine. It’s sturdy, versatile, and perfect for home training.

Purchased this last year..gym itself is a good price..the downsize are the accessories..and cable clips and chains...handles will not last long as there plastic.and the various bars don't rotate..clips are quite feeble..and chains could have been next link size up. .also the plastic weight stack seems easier to lift which means your average lifter will easily be able to move one side of the stack....I purchased extender pin to add more weight..could also have done with more weight storage..or put them elsewhere on machine as it makes it's footprint bigger.the pulldown attachment is poor..could have had a much thicker bar. It has a leg press attachment ..which has been quickly added..(without much thought) All in all the machine is solid.good value. The attachments let this down....but it's still way cheaper than it's nearer rival or similar machine
