We have really hard water. I usually purchase ZEP products as they are great. However, because Amazon had no ZEP rust remover in stock, I decided to try CLR. I sprayed a corner of the shower and left for a bit. When I came back, the hard water stain was gone! Then I sprayed down the entire shower and went to bed. When I got up, I found a perfectly pristine, white shower!!! The only downside to this product is that the scent, unpleasant that it is, does linger and linger. It's been 24 hours and the smell has decreased only a little. I might add that when I opened the box from Amazon, the CLR had leaked. Both bottles were wet.

I should have taken a before and after photo. Rust stain left from a mat I had in the tub. I was skeptical at first because the spray is so affordable, but I sprayed all over the entire tub inside and out. Left it for a little more than 2 minutes. Then went in and I used a SCRUB BRUSH, and I am telling you it works!! It removed the big rust stain. I'm not sure if my rust stain was severe or not, but it was a big one. I'm telling you it works! I resprayed and scrubbed again. I sprayed the entire bathroom, and it looks brand new. It is NOW up to my standards. The sweet virgin Mary herself would have no problem using the tub or the bowl. I wore gloves and clothes I don't care about just in case. Had eye wear just in case. I Left the window open it does have a smell, but not a knockout smell! I used it for every part of the bathroom so yes it did smell, but it doesn't last all day. You don't have to leave it overnight. Again, not sure of the severity of anyone else's rust stain, but for me it worked! It was very easy to use. I had no issues. Try it! It is affordable. If it doesn't work! Try something stronger. I just received this this morning for my bathtub. It is amazing to remove calcium and lime ring around the tub. It says to leave on for two minutes and wipe off and rinse with cold water, but I found that I had to do it a few times. I left it on much longer than two minutes and it didn’t do any damage, but it is slowly removing everything. I highly recommend this product. It’s so nice to look at a clean bathtub with our calcium and lime from hard water. Thank you for a great product.

I got this cleaner because I was dealing with hard water stains in my bathroom, and it worked really well. The spray bottle makes it easy to apply, and I noticed results almost immediately. It dissolved the calcium and lime buildup around my sink and shower with minimal scrubbing, which saved me a lot of effort. Plus, it works on rust stains too, which is a big bonus. One thing I really like is how powerful it is. I’ve tried other cleaners that barely made a difference, but this one cut through the tough buildup quickly. I used it on my faucets, showerhead, and even an old tea kettle with hard water stains, and everything looked much cleaner afterward. It’s nice to have a product that actually does what it claims. However, there are a couple of small downsides. First, the smell is pretty strong. It’s not unbearable, but I definitely had to open a window while using it. If you’re sensitive to strong cleaning smells, you might want to wear a mask or use it in a well-ventilated area. Another issue is that for really tough stains, you still need to do some scrubbing. While it loosens up buildup, it doesn’t always wipe away instantly, especially on older stains. I had to go over some spots more than once. Still, for a cleaner that tackles calcium, lime, and rust all in one, this is a great product to have on hand.

I used this to remove hard water stains on my glass shower. I about gave up but then ordered this as a last shot & it worked perfectly! Going to keep it stocked for my shower cleaning moving forward

This product used to work well. Now. I'm gonna admit I'm on the far side of my 60's and I get that things are gonna change.. they have to have changed the formulation on this stuff cause it doesn't work near as well as it did years ago. I suspect some time ago a person with questionable common sense and IQ issues decided to mix it with something that nearly killed him and as a result, the manufacturer removed whatever it was in the product that actually made it work good.

CLR Brands Calcium, Lime & Rust remover works great on stains! The spray bottle did leak a little during shipping probably due to the way it was packaged. The 22 ounce bottle fits easily under the sink. The price is good compared to similar products. A little goes a long way so the bottle should last for a long time! We have hard water which results in mineral build up on sinks, tubs, and toilets. The product is easy to use: just spray on the targeted area, leave for 2 minutes, and then scrub away deposits. It requires a lot of scrubbing and I used Comet in addition to the CLR spray.
