Good Quality Strings
Solid strings. Installed easily. String identification on the envelop in a horizontal box. I’ve had good results with Nylgut strings.

Try these and you will never go back.
I bought a second hand soprano ukulele to learn how to play. It was a cheaper one, retail about 40, so the strings weren’t the best. I was new and didn’t realize how bad they sounded until I put on the Aquila strings. My ukulele was so muted before. These are now the strings of my choice.

Great strings with a lovely, sonorous sound
What a difference in the sound after I change the strings on my ukulele. The sound is more rich and the strings stay in tune better, once they have some time to rest. They were pretty easy to put on. I always kind of struggle with the pegs at the top of the neck, but I think that's my technique and has nothing to do with the strings.

Nice replacement strings
While looking at new ukuleles recently I couldn't decide if I needed one, but I did decide that I liked the Aquila Nylgut strings on them. I bought these to replace the strings that came with my Makala MK-S and they definitely feel better.

Even my cheap kiddy uke sounds better.
Found a plastic kid’s ukelele at a thrift store for a quarter. Tuneable, so figured it was time to learn. Pretty crappy sound, wouldn’t hold a tuning, so upgraded to these strings. With the addition of a better nut I carved from a seal rib, these strings make my little kiddy ukelele sound fat better. And it holds the tuning. Now I can go to the beach without endangering a better instrument. I’m still pretty bad - but the sea lions bark with me. We’re awful, but these strings are great!

I bought a cheap ukulele from a local music shop that was closing down, for £15. I play drums and bass but wanted a more portable, acoustic instrument for summer campfires & beach parties etc. The strings that it came with were cheap and very easily went out of tune - I realise you have to retune frequently with new strings, but even so - three or four days later after daily tuning, the strings would still be a tone out. I wondered about new strings but thought it wouldn't be worth it on such a cheap, non-serious instrument. I was pleasantly surprised when I found these for £6 - after reading many good reviews on Amazon I just bought them. They arrived promptly, and are in colour coded plastic wallets which was handy.Out with the old, in with the new - the quality was a noticeable step-up from the originals, even before I'd put them on. Easier to 'install' than the originals, as I practiced restringing with them beforehand. I tuned it around every hour or so after restringing, for a few hours. Left overnight, they were quite out by morning, but once tuned again, they stayed in tune fairly well. The next day, they only needed minor adjustments to put them in tune again - so a fantastic improvement over the originals Anyway, in summary, they sound better, feel better to play, look better (quite a solid white as opposed to the quite see-through nylon originals), stay in tune better, and I can be confident that when I pick up my uke after days without playing it, that it will be pretty much in tune. Highly recommended!! :)
