Very good but of kit .keeps all your paperwork dry and secure. Quite sturdy to be honest. Don't use pen holder for pens as they rattle around and make a really annoying noise. Otherwise for the money you can't complain.

This set of x2 clipboards arrived protected in shrink wrap plastic. There seems to be several versions of clipboard sold by this seller on this listing but I received the clipboards in black plastic with built in storage. Each clipboard measures 36.5cm x 24.5cm with a thickness of 1.6cm so are quite chunky items. However, this thickness does incorporate a sizeable storage area for paperwork and pens / pencils at the base which is a very handy feature when working in an outdoor environment. The clipboards are made from a black polypropylene plastic which is very lightweight and I do worry about the durability of the clipboards long term (particularly if dropped), but for carrying around their lightweight nature is very convenient. The plastic clipboard also has the advantage of being water resistant which means that it is also easy to clean if accidentally dropped in mud etc. The back of the clipboard has moulded relief to ensure you have a good amount of grip and also features a hole to hang the clip aboard up if required (I can’t really see myself using this function personally). The hinges are made of plastic which I do worry will break over time but are kept together with a metal rod which feels reasonably durable. Each clipboard has a sturdy clamp which can hold a good amount of paper and there is also a pen slot for holding your pens or pencils whilst not in use, meaning that you always have a writing tool to hand when you need it. The inside storage area has a snap lock closure which you can supposedly store up to 200 sheets of A4 paper in, with the capacity to hold up to 50 sheets on the top which is more than enough for my requirements. The hard exterior outer wheel offers a good writing surface and although the clipboard is hardly an elegant item as it is very bulky, it offers excellent functionality for my application. I will be mainly using the clipboards when working outside and it is ideal from prevent paperwork from become tatty as I can store filled in forms in the inside compartment straight away. Priced at £5.98 at the time of reviewing, this set of x2 clipboards are quite good value for money and although the quality isn’t necessarily very premium, it functions well and has the ability to protect your paperwork which is ideal if you are working in an outdoor environment like I sometimes have to.

Two clipboards provided, good value for £7.99 at time of writing. Each one has a sturdy clip at the front with a compartment for storing pens at the bottom. The front opens out to reveal a secure storage compartment which holds plenty of paper and can be used for other things such as a calculator, phone or even a full sized tablet. The back is textured so it's non slip and it has a hanging hole at the back but be aware that the clipboard will be quite heavy when fully loaded. I got these for home use. I have a cubby hole above the drawers in my desk where I store my various papers and pouches and whenever I need a paper I have to rummage through them to get the right kind. I've put my laminator pouches, my thermal printer papers and my photo papers in the back of one of these and some loose A4 normal printing paper under the clip at the front. Now if I want to find a paper it will be easy to just take out the whole clipboard and all my papers are there, yes I managed to get all my loose papers in so now I just have the clipboard and some paper still in its package in there. I'm happy with this arrangement and would recommend. I will offer the other one to my grandson next time he visits, it may be useful for his school work.
