This stud finder was well detailed for wires, studs, etc. It was easy to read the display and follow throughout the job process. I was able to hang my 65 inch TV much more easily and efficiently thanks to this device. I would absolutely purchase again.

Easy to use, thorough detection and safety instructions. In using stud finders in the past, I always was afraid of hitting a hidden pipe or electrical wiring but with this stud finder I had no such worries because it detects wood studs at differing depths, detects metals, and detects electricity and includes clear, concise instructions on how you are to avoid those dangers using this stud detector. Also, it was nice to have instructions, and a troubleshooting quick start guide that were easy to understand and weren't written in microscopic print.

It falls short in terms of accuracy and consistency. The biggest issue is that it doesn’t consistently detect studs in the same spot. I can place it on an area, get a detection, and then when I check again, it either doesn’t detect anything or gives a different result. This makes it unreliable, especially when trying to mark precise locations for drilling.I followed the instructions carefully, ensured a flat surface, and even tested it on known stud locations, but the inconsistency remained. It seems overly sensitive at times and completely unresponsive at others. If you are looking for a stud scanner that can look deeper than 1/2 drywall and find a stud then I would keep looking. It was in the ballpark but kept getting false signals.

Brought this after buying a Franklin brand from a "big boxes store" that will go unnamed. Very satisfied with this purchase and it works very well. I highly recommend and would buy again.
