10/10 recommend for home decor, table setting, events/weddings, Halloween, etc. Waterproof and timer function are TOP REASONS I came back and bought two more sets. Basic AA batteries last at least 6-8 months with beautiful dim lighting. Work so well and long lasting. When I change the battery, I leave the back unscrewed and then flick them all on around sundown (only once!). Screw the backs on tightly to ensure you have a good waterproof seal. This way I never have to fidget with the remote or turn them on and off. They'll pop themselves off after we've gone to bed and flick themselves back on the next day at the same time! Deep set light and gentle flicker give them a real look (obviously fake from close up). Plastic - so if you want a more realistic waxy texture this isn't the product. If you want a long lasting, no fuss, safe, outdoor option for warm candle light THIS IS THE PRODUCT. And at a great price. Yes, the bottom can be challenging to screw on and off if you have arthritis, like me (don't get old kids. It's a drag). But I make do and appreciate that it keeps water out. Had these for years. Use them for Halloween, friends wedding, and my rustic cottage core vibe. (PS i never use the remote) ENJOY! 🕯️

Bright, easy to put the AA batteries in. Bottom is very secure for no water getting on. 6 hour timer and will not melt outside. The different sizes are great . Reasonable priced. Needed new ones mine were getting to old. Will look great in Halloween pumpkins and skulls. I do Halloween in my backyard like people do Christmas and I'm 74 years young.

These feel a little lightweight, so I'm not sure how they will hold up over time, but they do cast a nice light and simulate an actual candle's glow. Despite feeling a little flimsy, the price is right for this item (the one's we had before this were much heavier and had a truly wax-like look and feel to them, but I am sure that they cost us more than these did).

I bought these candles for use during any power outages. I was looking for a basic candle, no remote control and this one fits the bill. It also looks great, flickers like a real candle. Batteries are in a sealed compartment on the bottom so they can be used in wet conditions if needed. I'm not sure about the battery life, when I bought them I set one up to run on its timer function which is on for 6 hours off for 18 hours a day. That was on 2/1/22 and today is 3/11/22. 1,000 hours would take it to 7/17/22, we'll see if it makes it that long :-) ******Update 7/13/22***** We have used the one candle more than 6 hours a day on many occasions so we are well beyond 1,000 hours on one set of batteries. The candle is starting to dim and the flicker is weaker but for 1,000 hours I’d say not bad.

I've had these candles for a long time. I loved my first set, so I bought another set. I've tried different candles where the batteries constantly needed to be changed. It was very annoying, plus expensive. The batteries last a LONG time with these candles. I've enjoyed these candles so much! They come on around 5 pm which reminds me it's time to get dinner started. Then they go off around 11 pm which reminds me it's time to go to bed. I LOVE these candles because they give a warm feeling to our living room without wasting energy in our gas fireplace! I highly recommend these candles!!!

Love that they are water proof so I can set them by bathroom sink. Great so you don’t have to turn the big light on.

These are quite attractive. I like the timer function -- you just turn the candle on and it automatically turns itself off 6 hours later. What is really neat is that it "remembers" what time you turned it on, and it will come on again at the same time the next day and repeat its 6 hour stint until you switch the batteries off.

Description was INCORRECT! There is NO TIMER FUNCTION on these candles! Also too plastic, and packaging did not look like the description - many spelling mistakes = RED FLAG!
