Purchased this as it was cheap. I have other budget brand tools that use the same battery, so thought this might be useful. Had high hopes, but this has limited use. Firstly, it doesn't have 8 speeds. It has variable speed. Disappointed that it oscillates but does not spin, so it's not a real dual-action buffer. It will polish and wax, but only with very light pressure. Wouldn't recommend sanding using this. If you just want a cheap polisher to save your joints and bones, then it's fine. Don't expect anything more.

More power would make it a 5The kit is good the machine feels well put together ..but not allowed to apply pressure in order for it to do an effective job
