I bought the purple TK1 folding trike for my 66 year old wife for her birthday. She absolutely loves it. She has had it for 5 days and she has ridden it everyday. I am going to list general comments and observations. 1. Looks great! In fact, she has gotten stopped multiple times each day by individuals who want to comment and ask questions about it. 2. Out of the box it is 95% assembled as advertised. It took less than an hour to assemble. 3. The top speed with only throttle is about 15mph on flat ground. I have ridden it once, before I gave it to my wife, and I doubt that you would want to go any faster from a safety standpoint. We live in an area with moderate size hills and it handles them with ease. 4. Safety comments - brakes work well. It has brake lights, turn signals, horn and a head light. It is also very sturdy. 5. Baskets are nice and sturdy. Because my wife has used them to carry her miscellaneous items and shopping goods, I have bought the bags that go in them so that items will not slip through the baskets’ bottoms. I also bought mirrors to go on the trike. I believe these are necessary to ride safely on the road. 6. A trike rides different than a bike especially turning it. This is not a good or bad thing. A person just needs to realize he/she is riding a trike not a bike. 7. This is the most important one - SHE ABSOLUTELY ENJOYS RIDING IT! At this point I highly recommend this trike. I hope I can write this same review in a year. * Update * it is now September and I bought one. My wife and I ride together several times a week. Both trikes are holding up well. Both of us enjoy them.

Delivered June 29. Broke August 11. Can’t seem to get tech help.

Seat bolt is over tightened at factory. Cannot remove factory seat to replace with better seat. I tried but bolt head began to strip. The bracket under the seat has been tightened to a point it it bent. I'm a mechanic. Even with the tools and machines at my disposal, it's too tight. Obvious I can't use a torch. I contacted seller weeks ago. No response. If seller remedies the situation I will respond in kind. OTHERWISE, THE TRIKE IS AWESOME!

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for the wife in purple. Alas, purple was not in inventory and we received a notice from the seller about that asking if we wanted a different color or wait until Jan 1. The wife REALLY wanted purple so we opted to wait. It showed up in a rather large box and the final assembly proceeded. Not too bad, a couple of points were interesting but it all came together nicely and will not be a problem for anybody with basic handyman skills. For some reason the front basket was not packed in the box, but we contacted the seller who was very helpful and got a basket shipped to us promptly. There was also an issue with the LDC display, but again the seller was extremely helpful and got a replacement shipped to us. This is a peppy ride. It provides both pedal assist and has a throttle with an ability to determine what maximum speed you want. There is a nice headlight, 3 tail lights, a brake light, and turn signals. Really a nice ride. We have not ascertained what the range is because the weather has not cooperated and keeps dropping snow on the roads :-( One think I will mention is that trikes do not ride and handle like a regular bike. It does not lean into turns like a 2-wheel bike and if you turn the handle bars abruptly and sharply it is a disturbing experience. It is a very stable ride but can be dumped over if you try to do a sharp turn while moving. Overall, we are very pleased and the wife can't wait for warmer weather to get out and cruise in purple style!

Easy to assemble and well constructed. Instructions for assembly were easy to follow and extra nuts and bolts were a bonus. Tools for assembly were also included but you might want to use your own tools due to the lack of precision of the tools provided. Assembly took less than an hour but battery needs to be charged before using electric assist. It's a folding model but nothing cheap or flimsy about the connections. Solid trike.

I have never seen the meticulous packaging that Mooncool uses for their trikes. If I had watched a video first, the outer box opens by removing the handle inserts, then lifting the top off, leaving a short side so that the trike is easily removed. Every single part was in perfect condition and the trike is sturdy and thoughtfully designed. Gorgeous colors and a comfortable seat
