Tate and Lyle Light Soft Brown Sugar, 500 g

I was looking for good quality brown sugar and after a lot of google research and Amazon reviews i finally decided to buy this so bought 2 packets of 500 gms for 325 each and since then made so many cookies, flavour is very nice. I wish they had 5 kg options also as being a baker it becomes expensive to buy 6 packets of brown sugar every month. Hopefully they will start 5 kg packs too.

The product is very good and brings a real nice flavour to the bake. However I find it a bit costly maybe because it's imported. I will use this for select recipes and a cheaper version for some.

Flavour is light yet smooth. They deliver on their promise ie “medium buttery” taste. However, note that it doesn’t actually have butter and their products are fully vegan. I find it better than normal white sugar cos the latter is too sweet.

The brown sugar is good for use in many baking recipes such as cakes, cookies. It tastes good when used in recipes. One of the good quality of brown sugar available in the market. Would recommend it definitely. The smell is not that good but that is ok when compared to the taste.

Its a little expensive but ticks all boxes when it comes to flavor, taste, texture, color and everything you would want in light brown sugar!!

Good replacement for white sugar. Liked the packaging and quality is good.

Very nice product for baking. The flavour of the brown sugar enhances the chocolate chip cookies. I like the sticky ness it creates in my brownies. Good value for money.

This is really good brown sugar. American style which I could not find in the grocery store!

The sugar tastes great in cakes but wouldn’t use it for anything else. This is a health benefit for me as it’s lower in histamine than granulated. Bit pricey for the size of bag though.
