VERY THIN, But Worked for Me!
PRO’s: • VERY THIN (be sure to look at their measurements/pics!) • MOLDABLE - Easy to pull & stretch • DOES NOT Build up Stool under edge as much as thicker rings CON’s: • OFF BRAND - They’re an off brand so standard Ostomy Suppliers don’t carry this product (which is a true shame as most rings are so much thicker) • THINNESS - Because they are thin, You can’t be heavy handed when pulling or stretching them or they’ll end up weirdly shapped, possibly broken apart..(pull right+left & then Top+Bottom => GENTLY!) • SELF BUY = Because they aren’t carried by most Ostomy Suppliers, You have to But them Yourself & potentially try to get Reimbursed with No Guarantees they’ll be covered by Your Ins., etc. I bought these barrier rings to test out, because I have experienced some irritation around the edge of my stoma (jagged edges, rawness, redness, etc…) These were my 1st experience with foldable barrier rings. I later used some Brava/Coloplast rings and found them to be much thicker. However, I really like the thinness of these barrier rings. Because they are no joke very thin, You HAVE TO be gentle when stretching them out. When I used them (NO LEAKAGE ISSUES), I simply tried to stretch them out EVENLY + SLOWLY, so just a little at a time right+left sides, and then top+bottom, to try and keep its uniformity. Also, I tried not to put my fingers all over the ring surface, remaining aware of its tackiness. Like I stated, I didn’t have any issues with leakage. I personally like these over the thicker rings, because I don’t feel them as much, AND because they are Thin, it creates less of a ridge at my stoma for my output/stool (as I have a colostomy), to build up and does NOT pancake like the thicker rings tend to cause. Would I buy these again? Absolutely, I plan to buy them in the future. My Brava/Coloplast rings are covered under my Ins., but I’ll buy these again myself, because I like them. Sadly, most Ostomy Suppliers don’t carry this brand.

Worked well with Duoderm and Hollister pouchkin
These worked well. Sticky adhesive adhered well to the skin, and they were extra thin, so they didn't interfere with my daughter's wafer adhering to her skin.

You need a very strong adhesive remover
They worked so well when cam time to remove them I had so much trouble getting the residue off ,my skin was so tender after using this product… but hey it did its job .. no leaks . And kept my barrier sealed.

Saved Me!
Honestly, I haven't had any issues like some have described here. I have only bought and used 1 box of 10 but have used about 7 of them with no problems. I came home from the hospital with tubes of the paste. I am so glad I found these. The paste my insurance(Medicare) pays for and I paid out of pocket for these. They are worth it to me. The paste was a nightmare. I can't believe I used it over 2 months before I found out about rings. Honestly, I am poor, paralyzed and can't work. So cost is important to me. They last about 7 days on average and so worth it. There may be better products out there. This whole ileostomy thing is new to me and am still learning. But so far these affordable rings are much better than the paste I was using. They have been a blessing and I thank the Lord I found them. The next box (which I am ordering today) may not be as good but for now I am thankful.

Too thin...
Very thin. If stoma is large they break when stretching.
