Pebble time doesn't replace your smartphone, but compliments it.
The Pebble Time is one sweet gadget around your wrists and I bet you it is soon going to be big in India. Yes I also had to do some research before buying this thinking why a watch could be not so expensive, but pricey. There has to be something. But no .. There is everything you need for different daily purposes. From your daily fitness tracking to receiving messages and phone calls to booking an Uber ride to just google maps in general & the 1000s of Watchfaces. It just never ends. I just keep learning different things every minute & enjoy it. It has this quirky little fun look & style to it that takes you back to a time when you first saw a smart mobile phone & how you miss those times. That is one of the main reasons I Love my Pebble time. It doesn't go all out and replace your mobile phone putting touch screen, camera, etc that kill your battery each single day. This watch just compliments your mobile phone and does an excellent job I must add. I bought my Pebble time for a sweet one day deal for 6,999 & have got to say Best deal ever! .. Last but not least.. Really kudos to Amazon and Cloudtail. An excellent customer service job. Very quick delivery & great packaging. Verdict: Looks - A great design. I heard it gets scratched easily, but that just depends on how clumsy you are lol. I haven't faced any problem. P.S - It looks hot when you suit up! ;) Apps - Still yet to develop in India, but already there are 1000s of apps, games & watchfaces (Really you're not going to need more than that, but yes hopefully more apps should arrive!). Performance - A fast, responsive gadget with a great battery life, a sharp screen & water resistant and really really user friendly. Rating: 4.5/5 I LOVE IT! Enjoy! Cheers!

Read this before buying.
Pebble time is a great device for people on the go. The ones who don't get time to pull their phones out and work endlessly. However I would say that it is also useful for people who are preparing for entrance exams as it helps in reducing mobile phone usage and limiting sleep. Now for the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Excellent sleep tracker(very accurate) 2. Very good display(nice colors) 3. Plastic looks good 4. Looks good(suit various occasions) 5. Excellent watchfaces available on the app. The UI of the app is also pretty good. 6. Excellent after sales support from pebble. 7. Good battery life. (I've not been able to get more than 4 days) Many more but depend mainly on usage. Cons: 1. Pedometer is not accurate. It's just not accurate. If u are looking forward for a fitness device I would suggest u to look for misfit or something similar. 2. The bezels around the display get scratched very easily. Please take care of it or buy a skin. 3. Some apps do not work when the phone is not connected(for ex ESPN,voice notes) 4. Apple users have less advantages as compared to android users. 5. The strap does not get rid of sweat easily so I have to remove the watch for a few mins after workout. 6. Magnetic charger is delicate according to my usage. Overall it's a very nice product. I love it all over its cons because I don't really care about pedometer. Though my observations are that this product needs care and it cannot be used in a rough manner. So I will say go for it catiously. :) I have attached a photo which is after almost a month of usage.

Amazing watch !!👌
This watch is one of the most unique smart watches ever ! It has a solid build with no creaky or loose parts. It's as light as air and really comfortable to wear ! The buttons aren't like the spongy soft buttons where you only realise that it's pressed adequately when you see a response on the screen, instead they are very clicky, like the one's on your smart phone. Though it's a simple watch with no inbuilt wifi or gps, it has a ton of features and lot of support through the apps on its store ! It has apps to remind you drink water, do your work, see the news headlines, see the current scores of any match going on, etc ! It's very easy to use and surprisingly, it actually feels good to use buttons instead of a touch screen. Coming to the e-paper display, the display is not as bad as some people say. It's bright and easily readable in the daylight and in artificial light like bulbs and led lights and stuff. For low light conditions too it's not a big problem. Just flicking the wrist or pressing the button switches on the backlight illuminates the screen with its backlight. Infact, the e-paper display is one of the best as it doesn't glow like lcd or led screens and thus makes the watch look like a normal watch and doesn't shout out for attention. If you want a watch that has customisable watch faces according to your clothes and style and can notify you and let you read your calls and messages, and you don't need to charge it very often, this is the perfect watch ! And as a bonus, you can also reply to your messages using your voice! If you're in for these kinda things, this watch is the one ! Go for it !

Glass CRACKED & scratched
Watch is ok. But my glass got a CRACK which is undesirable. It's from nowhere else is Gorilla glass 3. Plus it gets scratchs so easily. Pebble customers service is also awful. They are offering 20% discount on another pebble watch purchase. Who the he*l will purchase another crabble which will again crack. NOT WORTH OF BUYING.

Value for money
It's a great product and definitely value for money. I use it with iPhone 5s and so far it has met the expectations. Battery life is great and syncing is smooth so far. There are 2 areas that are negative: very limited India content on apps and the bazel is prone to scratches even with moderate shocks. So u need to spend on protectors which cost as high as 20% of the cost of the watch.

It's sold to fit bit, but I don't care! I'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts :)
Well, everyone knows now that Pebble Co. is no more, It sold it's IP inventory to "Fit Bit" and has ceased its operations. So before you buy, bear in mind that you may not receive future updates and warranty assists... It's a sad thing to have happened to Pebble but it has happened nonetheless. Anyhow, now that mourning is out of the way, let's get to the device of interest. To be truthful, I have been eyeing it for a while but it's rather steep price, even for an all plastic unit, kept me at bay. And YES! I have bought it after the news, and after Amazon slashed it's prices. So I was aware of the risks I was taking. I felt that new price of 6k for "Pebble Time (color)" was decent enough to try it... as it still has life for another year or so before they completely pull off the chords. So, I wanted to experience this always 'ON' ePaper beauty while it lasted. So without a second thought, I bought it. And it got delivered on 1st week of Jan2017 . And since then I have been enjoying it quite a bit, more than what I expected I would. Now truth be told, It might not be for everybody and not everyone might like it, but for the few who are enamored by its character, I would suggest them to go for it... And here are my reasons. It was one of the very first startups to get the wearable technology right... Even before Moto 360 was a craze/thing (which by the way I also own). It was one such companies that dared to think different and went for an always ON ePaper display rather than LCD & OLED. Where all other smartwatches just appear to be dead and blackfaced, this lill thing teems with color and life. And this adds character to it... Now, don't go by the notion that this will be dead done and dusted in sometime, oh no! This has huge following in the underground nerd net... And soon someone will come up with the required Apps to keep it going, it had so much app support and watch faces even before applewatch and Androidware. And this dedication will keep it alive... Well, got bit sentimental there... Now back to reality and it's pros and cons... PROS: - Always On display... - A week of battery life. - Super easy to read either in full glaring sun light to sparsely lit spaces, thanks to it reflective ePaper tech. - I have completely turned Off my backlight to save battery and it never bothered me, the watch face is always visible!!! - For those tricky situations when you are stuck in bathroom at night and current goes off, it has you covered with its backlight. ;) - Health and sleep tracking. - This is the only health watch I have used that detects sleep no matter when you sleep, be it day or night - now this statement comes after using Samsung GearFit1, MiBand and Moto 360. All of which I own and have failed to register sleep, specially if you are a nocturnal creature and do not sleep before 1 or 2 am. - Beautiful animated UI and Watch faces ( Mario, PacMan etc etc...). - It has classic looks and blends in well, specially Pebble Grey and Pebble Steel. - 3rd party Apps ( including Go Pro Hero 3 & 4 remote support) - Water proof etc etc... CONS: - Colours look a bit washed out, specially if you use backlight... The colors are reasonably rich and contrasty with out the back light. But to me this is not an issue, and rather I find it to be it's unique differentiating character that give the face a retro look. - Average battery life... Given the ePaper display (same as Kindle) I expected it to last quite a bit longer, specially with auto light and backlight fully Off, but no matter what I try, the battery only lasts barely a week. - Since Pebble & Co. is no more, It will be officially dead in an years time... And No warranty out of the box. - No heart rate sensor (for Pebble Time). Now people will say many things and may even judge your intellect for buying a dying watch... But hey! It's your life and your experience... Enjoy it while it lasts... ;)

Was excited about the launch, but had to return it as the watch kept disconnecting ' all the time' I think I have spent more time trying to connect the bluetooth than actually using the watch. When on bike, the watch thinks you are running and keeps showing notifications how far and well you ran, another annoying thing is, it keeps waking up as you ride. The watch looks like a cheap plastic toy, your friends won't be impressed looking at that piece. Battery life is good about 5 days, and visibility is crystal clear in daylight. Verdict: Don't think smartwatches are ready yet.

is nice smart watch with limited and useful features
Pebble Time watch: is nice smart watch with limited and useful features. It has good battery backup of approx 3-4 days, depends on how many notifications you keep enabled. Notifications: Incoming call and messages notification is one of the pro which I like most. I don't have to worry about carrying my mobile all the time. Call can be rejected and one can also send message (SMS) via Pebble. Another good point is I can check my calender schedule on watch and do not have to check my mobile or laptop. Watch Faces: thee are lot of faces available on app store so you can choose as per your liking. Quality: I like the build quality, it is very light weight and quality of material used is also good. But you do have to take care of scratches on the watch. No ruff tuff use. Pebble Health is also a good adition to keep track of activity. This year by Novemeber Pebble iss expected to launch new version with heart rate monitor. Overall its good smart watch this price.
