Flying Start Electronics Discovery Kit, Multi Color (198 Experiments)

A great kit for curious children. My 5.75 year old was excited when he made a FM radio by following the diagram. For older children, this is really a wonderful set which they can experiment with. For younger children like my son it works more like a toy. The first box we received was open and its red LED light was not working. We received the replacement in a day and is in working condition.

A great product at a great price. It is easy to use and encourages children to test their knowledge about circuits. Recommended for 8 - 10 year olds. This also is a thoughtful gift for birthdays.

A good product foe the kids to explore concepts about electrical circuits . Had to return the item because of some faulty spare parts due to which some experiments are not possible. I should appreciate flying Start team for great innovation in designing the connectors . Connectors are strong enough to hold for long duration. It would be good if spare parts are sold separetly in Amazon. Users can buy the items that are broken or faulty parts. Nevethless a great learning and fun filled activity product

material quality is good. my kid enjoyed it. however, there is no principle or logic explained. The book just shows steps to be followed to get the results. it should teach the basic electricity concepts alongwith results.

This is an excellent product for kids to experiment with electronics. I was specifically looking for a non soldering one. The materials appears sturdy. The only con I could see after 2 days of usage is that the Buddha laugh cannot be done. The instructions doesnt seem to be clear about connecting t. As someone else has pointed out this is not really 198 but 66 experiments. Each one is again repeated with 3 type of switches. But kids really didnt seem to care and were interested in trying all 3 out. So no issues there.

Thanks for developing the excellent toy. It’s really engrossing for the kids. First time they really went to nil screen time without complaining and were busy and excited about it. Only one request. See if you add the functionality of each component with details. It is easily available on the net and can be copied and pasted in the manual. This will further increase kids knowledge without them going back to screen searching for it. Really loved the product and waiting for more such products from you.

I bought this for my 8 years young to introduce her to early electronics. Very easy to use kit and helps understand basic working of various gadgets. A shout out to the Flying Start team for sending the user manual separately after we lost the one with the original box.

Where else can we get the manual ? Not downloadable ? Doesn’t it means that if we lose that paper the kit becomes practically of no use ?
