Ideal for small electrical testing, works well and value for money

Was exactly what I wanted for testing a mixed box of batteries and sorting out the good from the bad. Easy to use and a great price too, very happy.

Good basic multimeter, I am no expert but found this super useful and easy to use. Audio beep works well when testing. Unit is lightweight. flip out stand works well but do find I need to lay the unit on it side dependng on what I am testing.

For a low cost multimeter this seems to be durable and well built and to the best of my knowledge works as intended. I purchased this to mainly test the voltage in batteries and do some basic path and fault testing in my arduino projects and so far its worked as intended. I especially like the dedicated battery settings and switching between the main voltage types and found myself using this feature most. Testing AA and AAA bateries to see if there is enough juice to power my project i learned a pretty cool thing. If you wish to get more out of the batteries you use you can switch old ones into lower powered devices and they work fine. Im now saving what i thought were drained batteries and using them in remote controls and clocks to get extra value. Not really the intended use but this has helped me understand a few more priciples of electrical theory and voltage/current requirements in electronics.

Great piece of kit. Even comes complete with battery. Bought it as it was about the same price as a replacement set of leads for my old multimeter - a no brainer! Seems to work fine and I feel much more confident searching for live feeds as the 'pen' tester I bought keeps giving false positives. Obviously not up to pro work but for the average DIYer I give it a thumbs up.

Having been involved in (electronic) instrument technology in the past, I found myself becoming a bit of an equipment snob. Tektronix for oscilloscopes, Keysight/Agilent or Rhode & Schwarz for spectrum analysers, Fluke for Digital Multimeters etc. These things cost many hundreds at a minimum and many (many) tens of thousands at the top end. And then we have this AstroAI which I bought for £8.49. It does everything it is supposed to, does everything a Fluke Multimeter (which I also have but wanted something more chuck-around-able) does. I am actually quite shocked as I thought anything at this price must be some sort of junk prize from a Christmas cracker but it's not. It's a fully functioning Digital Multimeter for the price of a Big Mac and Fries. I haven't tested the full accuracy yet but it is accurate enough for the majority of tasks outside of a laboratory and certainly for working on the car or around the house it is more than sufficient. Having only had it a short time I cannot attest to the reliability but at the price, even if conks out eventually, it is not exactly going to be a financial disaster. So yes, if you need to measure the mains, a voltage across or current flowing through/to a battery, check switches, fuses, appliances, check which wires are connected to which others in your car/house etc, I can recommend this unit. It even has a backlight so you can do it in the dark!

Cheap but good little multimeter to carry in your tool bag. I great, lightweight multimeter with clear, backlit display, and you can remove/replace the test leads if required (not hardwired like a lot of the other budget meters). I was going to purchase a Fluke meter, but as I am using it for work, I would be frightened of it getting stolen. This does the job nicely for me. Only one gripe is a slight delay waiting for the reading, but for the price you can’t argue.

Ich habe das AstroAI Digitalmultimeter für einige Heimwerkerprojekte bestellt und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Gerät ist gut verbaut und fühlt sich dank der schützenden Gummihülle stabil und wertig an. Ein besonders wichtiges Kriterium für mich war der Signalton bei der Durchgangsprüfung, und hier hat das Gerät meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Der Ton ist laut und klar genug, sodass man nicht ständig auf das Display schauen muss, was die Arbeit ungemein erleichtert. Die Messungen sind für meine Zwecke präzise genug und die Bedienung ist intuitiv. Für den Preis ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Gerät. Einziger kleiner Abzugspunkt: Die Messspitzen könnten etwas hochwertiger sein, aber für den Hobbygebrauch ist das meckern auf hohem Niveau. Fazit: Ein stabiles und gut verarbeitetes Multimeter, das hält, was es verspricht. Wer Wert auf einen funktionalen und hörbaren Signalton legt, macht hier nichts falsch. Und das beleuchtete Display rundet das ganze nochmal ab, falls man mal im dunkeln messen muss. Preis-Leistung einfach Top!

If you dabble in electronics a bit or even if you don't it is avery helpful tool. This worked great. I can check Voltage, Ampearage of my connections. Check if a charger is working. Check plug poits at home. There are literally thousands of applications. I don't do much but the bit I need works great. Recommended in this price point.
