"As seen on TV" IS the gold standard for any product might consider buying. My old one was clogged and tired and the wife was calling for a replacement. This seemed to hit all the marks. I give it good value, it has a useful range of settings, it has the all-important magic second head and, glory be, has really useful pressure without any dodgy modifications. It IS plastic, but I certainly wasn't going to fork over a king's ransom for metal construction. It's a shower head, not a riding lawn mower. Wait...aren't those now made of plastic too? It was easy to install once you grokked the clampy nature of the attachment point. The instructions were clear and, voila! No leaks.

We have had this shower head probably close to a year now and I still really love it! Love the extra long hose, multiple settings and the high pressure sprayer for cleaning! The only function we don't find so great is having both heads on at the same time, there's far less pressure this way which I did expect of course.

Installation was simple and easy, except that the diagram in the instruction sheet did not show the plastic white ring and there is no instruction where this white ring supposed to be positioned and used for. But finally I guessed and try and error a few times and made it fit into the proper place. The whole installation took about 20 minutes. The shower unit works fine as expected so far after a week of usage.

I regret that I will have to return the shower head because it is defective. I was excited when I opened the package because it had a nice weight to it & is pretty. One end of the hose went straight on but the other end absolutely wouldn't go on regardless of what I did. When I looked at it closer, I could see some marks on the end with the threads of the shower head itself & because it was plastic, it stopped the hose from being screwed as far up as it is suppose to go. I tried swapping ends just in case but nothing worked. What it is doing is not allowing you to screw to the top of the threads so the water leaks out of the hose a fair amount. I am going to try again just in case it was a quirky one because it is a nice shower head. Please note that it is a large shower head & you cannot use a shower shelf behind it, you will need a corner shower shelf if you need shelves. Update: I did return this shower head. Amazon sent a new one immediately & it worked as advertised. The shower head went straight together, no tools. They sent an extra washer & some tape just in case you need it (they did on the first one too). The water pressure is great out of both shower heads & there is plenty of water pressure from the pet & rinsing the shower down when needed. I am glad I replaced it & have changed my rating to 5 stars.
