Easy to order arrived quickly and easy payment plan option taken at no extra cost always a bonus around Christmas. Nice compact storage bag and very light compared to my old steel chains I had on my previous vehicle. Will see if how they preform when we go to the Alps in a couple of months time.

This product works perfectly and is a great alternative to chains

Easy to fit

Being a regular driver in the Alps and in winter conditions, and having used chains (and alternative versions thereof) in the past, it's very frustrating to find a product superior to metal snow chains and yet they are not - not yet at least - approved for use in Austria. The testing and approval authority in Austria is Ö-Norm and the relevant approval rating for snow chains is ÖNORM V 5117. In winter Austrian law states that you have to have winter tyres AND carry ÖNorm approved snow chains. These Michelin Easy Grip chains ARE approved for use in Italy, France and Switzerland, and can be used in Germany too, but not in Austria. In the item description it only states that they are approved for Italy - it would not be difficult for them to be clearer about this, particularly as I'm now having to pay £3.99 to return them to Amazon. I've awarded 3 stars because they are actually a very good set of chains and although expensive (twice the price of the metal chains I'm having to buy for use in Austria as an alternative), I believe they are far superior. I can only hope Austria approved them at a future stage - I believe they are relatively new to the market - because by all accounts (tests viewable on YouTube) they perform as well if not better than metal chains, are just as durable and do far less damage to your wheels, tyres and road surface.

Quick and easy to fit but have not yet tried them in heavy snow

J'ai parcouru maximum 10Km avec les chaînes et comme vous pouvez le constater entre la bande de roulement et l'extérieurs la fibre est deja bien entamée ainsi que les crochets. Il est vrai que pour le placement ca vous prendra maximum 15 minutes et pour le retrait 5 minutes mais ça ne vaut pas pour autant la qualité/prix. D'ailleurs l'anecdote dit que le chasse neige est passé et que la voiture est restée bloquée...

They are easy to put on, seem to stick to the tires really well. No need to tighten them, they stayed on great for 1.5 hour ride up to Tahoe and traction is really great with them even on ice and deep snow. 40km/h (25mp/h) speed limit.

Voor de zekerheid meegenomen naar winters Zweden. En daar bleek nodig. Ze nemen weinig plek in de auto maar ze werken uitstekend. Instaleren duurde de eerste keer iets van 15 minuten en ze leken wat schreef te zitten maar met een stukje rijden kwamen ze mooi om de band te liggen. Wij hadden ze nodig voor een volledig met ijs bedekt bosweggetje waar lopen niet te doen was maar de dik 2000kg zware auto met rustig aan doen prima vooruit kwam. Eraf halen is echt zo gedaan en de 2e keer had ik ze met een paar minuten geïnstalleerd. Voor sporadisch gebruik een uitstekende keuze.

Much better than actual chains in many situations. Seem to work better than tire socks. Very light and easy to stow. I watched an install video in English before I installed them the first time. It's a very easy process even with tight wheel well clearance. Probably a good idea to practice on dry land before you need them. High quality product made in EU.
