Ok- wreaked of strong perfume scent
They were already sharpened. Some tips were broken. Some lead was not centered in the pencil well which makes them hard to sharpen correctly. Average. Doubt I would order again. Box they arrived in was sooo strongly scented that the pencils had to be put in my garage to air out for 3 days before using.

Great for writing centers!
These pencils are fantastic for writing centers. They use the red side for revising and the blue for editing.

I am happy with these pencils, especially for doing carpentry / drywall work. It is so convenient to have both colors on one pencil. I use the red for thc cut sides and the blue for the piece I am keeping
