I've eaten Huel daily at work for the last 9 months. The vanilla flavor is pretty good on its own (although blending in your own additives makes it even better). The unsweetened/unflavored absolutely requires you to add your own flavoring and sweetening. The U/U Huel is like a blank slate that allows you to create your own flavor style. I like Huel for several reasons 1. Low sugar, low glycemic index. 2. Convenient to use for work. I don't have a lot of time to heat up food or go to the cafeteria to get food. This can be made ahead of time at home in a blender and taken to work in an isulated bottle, chilled. 3. I feel satisfied for a long time after consuming. 4. Nutrition is well rounded. It has all the macros and micro nutrients I need all in one. 5. Price is about $2.70 per 500 calorie serving. When you compare to most other complete meal replacements at their 500 calorie serving price, Huel is one of the lowest. 6. Can be mixed with a wide range of additives (banana, PB, cinnamon, applesauce, frozen berries, milks, etc) to keep the flavors interesting.

Horrible taste and consistency no matter what I put into flavor it ... but with that said. It fills you up and keeps you full for hours

I haven't even tried it yet, but am wary to use the broken package. There are no returns, so consider this before buying. What a mess...

This review is for the unflavored unsweetened variety. Going on three weeks now of 1 huel shake for breakfast and a frozen diet dinner. The flavor and texture are acceptable, though you will need to experiment with add-ins to get something you enjoy. I love oatmeal and Maltomeal so this was not a big deal for me, especially if you make it a little thinner than it calls for. The convenience of being able to just throw together a complete meal in 45 seconds and sip it on my way to work is easily worth the 5 stars. A lot of reviewers have noticed an initial adjustment period of gasiness, and this does happen, so be prepared. I purchased Huel as a weight loss tool since my TDEE and cutting numbers are so low its hard to manage that with "normal" food. I have lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks so it works great for that as well. A 2-scoop shake keeps me full for easily 6 hours, getting me through most of my workday.

Honestly the greatest meal replacement, ever. I do CrossFit, work a physical job and go to school. I'm on the go all of the time and this helps me from hitting up fast food joints and to keep track of calories. I love that it's high in protein and fiber too. I'm very greatful for this product 👍🏻
