This is a rip off, they just change the cover for the green PTE Pearson, it a waste of money

It's an old book (2013), front cover was changed to reflect (2018)! That's a crime. Don't buy!

I personally followed all three books by pearson. Addition to this i also practiced from youtube.I didn't go to any expensive coaching and followed all the free material available on the internet. I was the first time test taker of PTE.I am happy and satisfied as i was just aiming for 65 and successfully obtained 72. My marks in speaking was 82 reading 68 listening 74 writing 70. I feel the practice part can be done via YouTube and this book gives professional touch to the preparation. All the best everyone hope this genuine review helps.

Very useful for exam preparation as the level of questions in this book represent the actual difficulty level of exam. The explainations of scoring against the sample answers (from real students) help you to understand the techniques to get high score. I got overall 90 (though my target was 79+) after practising all questions from this book along with some other free material available online. I have not gone through previous version, so I can't say how much this version is different from previous one. There is one major drawback. The practice questions are not computerized. Most of the questions are given in the book, except the audio clips which are on CD. Means you have to note/record your answers using pen, paper and voice recorder of your phone/pc and then match your answers against the correct given in the answer key manually. This is very inconvenient and a lot of time is wasted in it. The practise test should have been computerized as it's there in the official guide..

I should have read the reviews before buying this book and I regret not doing so. NEITHER AN AUDIO CD NOR A LINK TO ACCESS THE AUDIO TRACKS. What is the use of this book then?
