Better then expected
I am using these with the NES classic (the official Nintendo one). I’m not a professional gamer but I play fairly high level fighting games and actually care about input delay. A hopped right into Mario 3 and couldn’t feel any noticeable problems with latency. I plugged the controllers in for 10 minutes to charge and they worked right away; no update required! I went and tested them with the actual Wii as well and they worked just as good. I have not plugged them into an actual PC. You have to insert the USB’s into the Wii style controller ports for them to work with the Classic. I had been on the fence about buying these for a while now, but would recommend them now that I’ve had them in hand.

I’m glad I waited before reviewing these. The controllers worked great at first, but both stopped functioning properly about two weeks after the return window closed. One suddenly developed severe lag, and the other has a button that no longer responds at all. Our NES Classic is only used by my husband and is very well cared for, so there’s been no rough handling. We recently moved and misplaced our original controllers, so I bought these as a temporary replacement until we find them. Unfortunately, they didn’t hold up.

A game changer for retro gaming
Installation is straightforward: pop off the cover, unscrew old assembly, drop this in, reconnect the little hose. Took 5 minutes. Soft water immediately, salt using properly, no leaks. The plastic feels sturdy, threads are clean. The little screen/filter is slightly finer mesh than OEM.

Really happy with the performance of these little remotes. They are much cleaner than I expected from something of the price level.

Worth a try
This works great. Never found a corded one that would work. Paired easily. Have only used it three times. So far so good. Worth giving a try.
