Great for Parties, But Ice Melts Fast
The EUHOMY Countertop Ice Maker has been a fantastic addition to our parties and gatherings. It’s quick and easy to use, producing plenty of ice in a short amount of time. The compact size is perfect for our countertop, and it’s great for keeping drinks cool all night long. The only downside is that the ice does melt quickly, especially in warm environments, so I’ve had to refill it a few times during parties. But overall, it works great, and I love having it for events. Highly recommend if you need extra ice in a pinch!

Great little machine love the small ice cubes
I love this machine. Easy to use. Just know it doesn’t keep the ice cold so you can’t leave it in the basket.

Works as advertised
Worked as advertised. Instructions were clear except how to or how often to clean the machine. YouTube to the rescue. There is no off switch. It will continue to make ice until it runs out of water or you unplug it. The ice in the basket is not kept cold. So it starts melting before the basket is full. Mostly meaning the ice is wet so will freeze into a big clump if the intent is to store it in the freezer. The solution is to use refrigerator temp water to fill the device, and dump the ice after 1 or 2 cycles of 9 ice cubes into a ziplock bag & keep in the freezer. Filling the device to the fill line and letting it run until empty produces about half of a gallon size ziplock bag of ice over about 2 1/2 hours. There is about 1/2 inch of water left in the reservoir when the “add water” light comes on. This needs to be drained regularly by removing the plug on the underside. The plug is difficult to remove (means it is seated tightly) so make sure that part of the machine is over your sink as you start to loosen the plug. Suggest purchasing ice machine cleaner or you will need to use vinegar to clean the machine.

Make sure this is what you want
This is for a very specific person. We work in disaster areas w toxic water. We also need ice, lol. This runs off of the water you add, so for that reason its great. 5* I guess. For work office or home, I wouldn't do it. Be aware, it is slow. I literally get 8 or 9 cubes every 13 minutes. The cubes are circles with a hole in the middle, its like a stack of lifesaver candy. They're pretty wet when produced, so they instantly start melting. For an 8 ounce room temp drink. The ice is melted after you add the liquid to the ice. Your drink will be cool-er, not cool yet. If you wait another 13 mins, lol, you'll have a cool but a lil watery drink ( remember, you melted the first batch). So, this was great because we were desperate for ice. We also tried to make lots and store it in the freezer, but the ice comes out so wet, it freezes as solid. Not too bad i guess. It's just very tedious and time consuming. You sorta need to be desperate to use this. The bin isn't refrigerated, so you have to use the ice as soon as it drops. Also, we waste a lot of valuable water. It takes almost 3 regular sized water bottles for the sensor to start making ice. It turns off with 2 bottles sitting in the reservoir. We try and drink the water if we're done. But, wasting 2 bottles a day is like wasting a case per week.
