Good quality and easy to use

The EPDM backer rod works really well. I’ve worked with foam before and prefer the rubber for its versatility and size memory. When you compress it to fit, it returns to its manufactured size. Great stuff for many applications.

This is the first time I’ve bought backer rod, but it’s true to its description, whether for size, fit, crack resistance, durability, value for money, or sealability— it’s a “chewy” foam rubber that has grip, and conforms to the space in which it’s placed. I’m using it for an “off-label” purpose, and am very pleased with its performance. In case you also need this lifehack, too, I’m using this to help keep a SOFA SLIPCOVER remain neatly tucked inside the cracks. I asked ChatGPT to help me with this issue, and backer rod was one of the suggestions offered. Since it comes in various diameters, there should be an optimal size that suits your situation. 🛋️ Would recommend this product, whether for stated use or for other creative household hacks, if you’re looking for a foam rubber in a customizable tube length form factor. 👌

Great product!

No issues. Some spots that were wider, we just added an additional line.

I used this as a backer before filling larger cracks in my asphalt driveway. It was easy to install and did not tear or break when I pressed it into the cracks with a screwdriver. No complaints at all, and will definitely use again.

I like the larger diameter product composition better but this worked for what I needed. I found this didn’t stay in place as well.
