Well, Color Me Happy!!!
These are great! I'm pleasantly surprised. Due to sensory issues, finding the perfect earbuds can be absolutely frustrating. And, by golly gosh, I do believe I struck gold with these! Sometimes my cat keeps me up at night meowing so I knew I needed some that would be a good fit for laying my head on the pillow. These stood out to me because they looked like they could possibly, and finally, not leave me wanting to claw my ears off. I took the chance and purchased them due to the good reviews and after seeing pictures of what they looked like sitting in the ear from other customers. After using these earbuds frequently for the past week, I don't have any complaints, so I will list all the qualities that are pros to me. 1. They're discreet. Your eyes don't immediately jump to them because they hide well in the ear and they are not bright and bold in color. If you prefer something more discreet, these may be a good option for you. 2. They cancel out just enough noise to be comforting. I like that they are not completely noise canceling. I appreciate that I can still hear while simultaneously having dimmed the intensity of loud and overwhelming noises that come with being out in public, at events, grocery store, etc. I went to a play last night and I could still hear what was happening just fine while also feeling comforted. I still had them in during intermission and was able to hear my aunt and carry a conversation just fine without having to take them out to hear her. These earbuds gently lower the intensity of over-stimulating noises and allow me to still enjoy certain activities and/or get through unfavorable situations that greatly overstimulate me. 3. I appreciate the variety of sizing in the buds and that they included a size XS. While the mediums were okay, the XS's are perfect for me. Perfect size for my sensory needs and perfect size for sleeping. They fit just right in my ears, and my ears don't end up badly aching after having slept in them. When I tried sleeping with the mediums it was a no-go, but I switched to the XS and it felt SO much better all around and I was able to sleep. While I could tolerate the mediums for being out and about, once I switched to the XS's, I wondered why I didn't switch them sooner. 4. Great for sleeping for me. I had not found an earbud that I could tolerate for very long until these. So the fact that I'm able to sleep with these things says A LOT. I don't have to keep adjusting my head so that they don't hurt or bother me. 5. I hardly know they are there. Once I go on about my activities, it doesn't take long before I don't notice them much. It doesn't feel like my entire ear is busting with an earbud. I don't have to keep reajusting them to relieve aching. My tragus and rook piercings are not bothered at all when using them which THRILLS me. They're also very lightweight, and sit in my ears so subtly that I just about forget that I have them in. 6. They're nicely compact and easy to transport. The design of the earbuds and case are brilliant. The color(s), shape, size, and smooth texture are very pleasing to me. I chose the iridescent lilac and they are beautiful without being too loud in appearance. I very much appreciate the loop attached to the case, too. I hooked mine onto my bag and they go with me everywhere. 7. Money well-spent. I think these are worth every penny. I appreciate that they are not outrageously priced, that they are great quality, and meet my personal needs well. If you're looking for something closer to complete noise cancellation, these most likely aren't for you; however, if any of the above applies to you then you may be pleasantly surprised like I was when I tried them. I'm highly pleased! 12/10, would recommend!

Exactly what I needed—comfortable, effective, and well-designed
I initially bought a different Loop model without fully researching, but after comparing options, I tried the Loop Engage 2 and they are amazing. They reduce background noise without muting everything, making it much easier to hear conversations and important sounds. They are incredibly comfortable—I forgot I was wearing them—and easy to insert and remove, even with long nails. The multiple tip sizes helped me find the perfect fit (small worked best for me). Highly functional, thoughtfully designed, and absolutely worth the price. A solution I didn’t know I needed.

A must have for my migraines and loud work environment
I wear these (and my quiets) every single day and I absolutely love them. I'm going to eventually buy a backup pair to leave at work because the idea that I may accidentally leave these at home gives me anxiety lol They're incredibly comfortable (try every single ear tip size!) and extremely discreet. And I can add a great deal more db reduction (equivalent to the quiets) with the little mute. Before I got my quiets I've even slept in the engages and I'm a side sleeper. While it wasn't *the* most comfortable night time earplugs experience, it wasn't unbearable. I just made myself not put as much pressure on my ear (I gathered up a blanket and positioned it in such a way that my ear didn't emoosh against the pillow.) The only gripe I have about the actual product is that they don't come in more colors. I do prefer the clear ones for work, but when I wear them out to events (bingo night!) I really want to have them look like jewelry to match my 7 earrings in my ears. I'd absolutely love a rose gold, and painting them isn't an option because I don't want to accidentally block the little chamber lol. I know there are the experience ones, but I don't need more occlusion/db reduction at these events so I haven't gotten them. Speaking of gripes - this isn't the fault of the product but it's just the way that earplugs work...even though these ones aren't totally occlusive, they still make it sound weird when I talk. It took me about a week to get used to it and I still can't sing along with the music at work because I'm way too loud to myself and it sounds weird...but the benefits far outweigh that to me. I've tried products like the flare calmers and while they help with general overstimulation they offer zero db reduction so they don't do it for me in loud environments such as my job. I do still use them in other situations, though. Just not when volume is part of the issue. Ok now that that's out of the way, I'll expand on how these are helping me in hopes that it gives someone else the info they need in order to decide whether they want to spend the money on them. I feel obligated to mention that these are *not* designed to protect your ears from significant noise levels such as gunshots or heavy machinery. I know they're not advertised as such, but I feel that it's responsible to add this in my review. So, I work at a restaurant and I have noise sensitivity and chronic migraines. The noise level at work is unbearable at times (too loud but not dangerously so) between the music, the hood vent, the fryers, all of the customers, the clinking and clanking of metal cookware and all the buzzing of the appliances. It drives me mad and makes my head pain even more intense. The breaking point was one day when the person in charge had the music up a little bit too loud and I nearly lost my mind within the first 10 minutes of my shift. I'd had these on my wishlist for a while but I literally purchased them on my break so I could have them the next day. When I tell you that with these in it melts away all of the annoying buzzing and whirring of the appliances! I can't even hear when the water is running (so I have to be careful that I don't overfill the sink when I walk away for a second while it's filling up lol). The clinking and clanking doesn't feel like it's piercing into my soul. The music isn't too loud. AND I can still hear the customers speaking to me very clearly! It only affects me being able to hear people talking if they're quiet talkers or are mumbling, which to be fair that isn't very easy to hear over the ruckus without the loops. All I have to do is adjust my level of concentration when I'm not looking at someone when they're speaking. So it does take some getting used to but it's not something that can't be learned. It's also reduced my migraine intensity. It used to be that if my head started to hurt while at work it would progressively get more painful for the entire day until I finally got home and things are much quieter. Now, when I start to get head pain it plateaus at a point and doesn't continue to increase. This has greatly improved my quality of life while at work. Also when I am having head pain and extra migraine-induced noise sensitivity at home I can wear these and still be able to hear everything around me. I can even use them and listen to an audiobook at the normal volume and be able to hear everything perfectly, if a bit quieter (which is what I want during a migraine) Now, can I just get some of these for my eyes? LOL (seriously, though fl41 migraine tint for glasses is a life saver!) I carry these babies everywhere and I recommend them to anyone with noise sensitivity. My coworker bought some last week and she loves them! I got them as a birthday present for my best friend and she's incredibly happy with them! I can't recommend them enough. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the case. It's fine. Nothing to call home about. I don't trust it by itself, so I crocheted a little pouch to put it in. I've heard that the version 2 cases are more secure, but I don't trust my comfort and sanity to a piece of plastic alone lol you can alternatively buy some of those small, round headphones zipper pouches to put it in. I don't trust the metal cases with the screw-on lid, either. I carry my daily meds in one and am very familiar with just how easily it works itself open.

So far so good.
Instant relief - except for the tinnitus. I just got these today and they already have helped with loud playing and TV shows etc ... the reviews about amplifying internal sounds are accurate. My eustachian tubes don't actually close on their own so I hear my internal sounds all the time anyway. I also have tinnitus and that is mildly increased with these but I'm used to that too though it's not ideal. Having the loud toddler sounds muffled is worth the rest of it. I like the aesthetics of them. They fit really well which is surprising because most earplugs are too big for my ears. So far they have stayed in place. I would say they are worth a try.

Well-fitting, versatile, quality earplugs
I started off with an earlier pair of Loop Engage (Equinox color), because this color (Dusk) was sold out then. This is the pair I really wanted, though. Both have worked extremely well for me, blocking just enough noise to help keep my sensory overload anxiety down while letting enough sound in that I can understand most of the time when someone talks to me. Let me tell you why I love these gorgeous little gray earplugs: With the extra small tips (they come with 4 sizes of tips, total), they fit my small ears without causing pain. They're affordable (especially on Prime Days), and even at full price, they're worth every penny. They stay in place all day, even with my extremely oily skin. They're easy to clean; all I use is a terry microfiber cleaning cloth, and 70% Isoproply Alcohol (I know the instructions say not to use that, but mine are no worse for it.) I spray a little alcohol on the cloth and wipe them clean. The case can fit almost anywhere, so they're easy to keep in my pocket at all times for sudden noisy situations. It even has a silicone loop you can hang it up by or put it on your keychain, though it might not last long that way. They help me sleep better, especially since I live on a busy street that has traffic at all hours of the day. They make music, audiobooks, and phone conversations sound so much clearer, louder, and fuller when used with bone conduction headphones. And lastly, but not least - they help me stay sane in today's VERY noisy world. I was think they're 100% worth the hype.

Overstimulated mom
Extremely helpful as a mom who is very overstimulated and triggered by noise. These ear plugs help take the edge off. I don't hear all the repetitive noises, jumping around, banging around as kids do. Things aren't so high pitched. I can hear my daughter when she talks but all the background noise decreases. I feel so much calmer when I wear these. They work so well. I like the case they come in. I find the earbuds to be comfortable and fit well. I find these to be absolutely worth the money. Nice to wear even in the grocery store.. you don't realize how much background noise and cart squeaks until you put these on and things are clear.

2 stars on product, extra star for company.
Short of it, they really aren't much better than normal ear plugs. Disappointing at best, awful at worse. Autism and PTSD. Extremely, extremely noise sensitive. My brain wants to hear everything and nothing at all. I was recommended these on multiple autism groups. I have had them for awhile now and have tried multiple things to no avail. For me, the noise reduction/enhancement is pointless because the only thing I can hear is myself or the buds themselves. Just using in this package, I could literally not hear anything if I was talking. The speech enhancement honestly doesn't work. I have to warn my partner I am putting them in so he can speak louder. I wanted these to help me regulate in public but still feel safe. I wore them to the grocery store and didn't hear a car pull up next to me. It was impossible to talk to my partner. The internal noise is so loud that I wouldn't speak up, so they couldn't hear me, and they were not good at enhancing speech so I couldn't hear them. Wearing them actually made me significantly more anxious. So, I bought the mute insert and foam tip pack from their website. The mute insert is advertised as reducing internal noise, but does not explain well how much more 8db is. If I have the mutes in, I can't hear anything else anyways. It is really, really difficult to understand speech with the mute in, and I can't have a conversation with them out. The feel of the bud tips is pretty awful. The silicone tips are always making this weird rubbing noise and I wear the XS. According to their manual is the correct size. Once again, can't hear anything. I would have liked the foam tips alot more, but for some reason they cause a feedback like noise when moving. Awful. One star because they are comfortable actually in the ear. Otherwise they are just normal ear plugs, but 40 dollars. The only time I wear them now is when I am close to a meltdown to reduce sensory input. However, the company seems like a good company. They are nice and appear to care about what they are trying to make. I think they will be able to make a better product in the future.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clear speech without overwhelm
I bought the Loop Engage 2 earplugs because I’m noise-sensitive but still need to stay engaged in conversations, especially in social settings and while parenting. I’ve been using them regularly in everyday situations — family gatherings, busy rooms, and during conversations where background noise would normally leave me feeling overstimulated. They do exactly what they claim: they take the edge off without making me feel disconnected or like my ears are blocked. What really works well: Speech stays clear and natural, even when multiple people are talking Background noise is softened, not muted, which makes socializing feel more manageable Comfortable enough to wear for extended periods The multiple ear tip sizes make a big difference for fit (especially for smaller ears) I’ve owned an earlier version of Loop earplugs, and the updated carry case alone is a huge improvement. It’s sturdier, easier to open, and actually feels secure on a keychain — no more worrying about it popping open in a bag. Things to know before buying: These aren’t meant to block out all sound — they’re best for reducing overstimulation, not silence If you’re expecting heavy-duty noise cancellation, these may feel too subtle Bottom line: If you want to stay present in conversations while reducing sensory overload, these are excellent. I genuinely love mine and would repurchase, especially with the upgraded case and improved fit options.
