Ubiquiti U7-Outdoor

Great add on to a Unifi LAN. Adding to my Dream router was simple and easy to program. I found the internal, directional antenna was more effective thank the included omnidirectional ones.

Needed something that’s reliable and tolerant to crazy Illinois weather — hot and humid / cold and freezing — in my usually unheated carriage house. If this is good enough for college campuses and corporations, it’s got to be overkill (but with added benefit of “set and forget”) — so I went with it and haven’t had any issues for several months and cold winter temperatures.

UI products are great and this is no exception. I have great reception in another building across my property about 150-200 feet away

We added this to our Unifi home network for outside coverage and boy did it deliver. We used the omni-directional antennas and the distance is unbelievable, easily 1,000 feet with full signal and very acceptable speeds around fifty megabytes down. If you are on the fence, hop off and take the plunge.

On my garage, mostly to use when in or near my car, mostly for loading GPS directions. I live in an area of no cell coverage, so my phone connects through Wi-Fi. It also gets pretty cold here in Vermont and I can attest to its performance at sub-zero temperatures. Very reliable, well built, easy to mount. Connected it through mesh topology with other UniFi units I have. Configuration is much easier than units from even five years ago. Definitely worth the price. Set it and forget it. Watch it though, the screw that fastens the cover plate on the bottom of the unit is TINY and I was to drop it, I'd never find it.

A little misleading but excellent performance and reliability. Range far beyond what is advertised

This replaced earlier UniFi outdoor WAP: it is hardwired mounted outdoors on a pole….. the U7 is FAST and has amazing range: a champion performer indeed. And it allowed me to adjust the antenna pattern to180 degrees: a very helpful feature. I am not as happy with the mounting bracket design: the older UniFi outdoor WAP had a much nicer metal bracket. But overall this is very highly recommended,

I received this item yesterday and was immediately met with a surprise I hadn't considered. I have purchased other Ubiquiti products/AP's in the past, and every one of them have come with their own power supply / PoE Injector. This item does not have any form of power supply with it. Its important to note that it is a PoE+ instead of PoE, and on top of that, to get the maximum bandwidth, as it boasts 2.5Gb uplink, you'll need to make sure that if you do get a PoE+ injector, that its rated at the 2.5Gb instead of just gigabit. Adoption into my network was a breeze though. If you're unfamiliar with these AP's, you'll want to ensure you have the proper settings for your intended use, it defaults to using the directional signal, so if you intend to use the antenna's, youll have to change that. I havent had the opportunity to verify the range on it yet, but I saw others had stated it has great range, so I am hoping to see similar results.

Signal strength remains strong even at the farthest corners, and I’ve noticed noticeably faster throughput for streaming and genau ming compared to my previous outdoor AP

buen equipo, solo tengan cuidado con las antenas, son muy fragil ya instaladas y se quebran facilmente, y no venden por separarado la antena omnidireccional, ya me paso :(

Surprisingly powerful, great weather isolation and solid mount. Came with all the hardware you would expect however I should point out it does not have an engineered flat mount option out of the box. I ended up mounting an ABS pipe to some wood so I could get the pipe clamps around everything and securely mount it. Handled the -45C Canadian winter without issue!

Best product ever working in 3 floor 1500 sq/ft warehouse perfectly if you follow the instructions and maintain the quality.
