I was brand new to kombucha making before my husband purchased this for me as a gift. Everything stated in the description is included, the SCOBY arrived healthy (and has thrived!), and the instructions were very clear on how to use the kit. I have since made several batches of kombucha with this and could not be happier with the results. Thank you!

I've never made kombucha before but my boyfriend regularly drinks it from the store so I thought this would be a fun activity to do together! It's been really fun learning about the process and hopefully we will save some waste and money by making our own. First batch isn't done yet, but the instructions are good, just make sure you are keeping your Kombucha warm enough, we had that problem at first. You could probably buy all of the included items separately and save a little bit of money, but this kit was the cheapest I could find and is so convenient and gives you everything you need to start except the tea and sugar. I would recommend!

The scoby instructions said to test the ph factor but there was no ph paper to test with. Otherwise was easy to use. Havent fermented it long enough to rate the taste but the scoby smelled like the one I stopped using so I assume the taste will be okay. I drink it as fermented with adding fruit or other flsvoring.

Easy to set up, great value. Directions are not very clear, or complete

I have been interested in starting to brew my own Kombucha. My husband surprised me with this kit and it's a great starter kit. Now it is for brewing only, if you haven't researched how to brew there are many great reference books and videos.
