Brook Wingman XE 2 Converter - Two in One Wireless Controller Adapter for PS, Switch Consoles, and PC, Supports Remap Adjustable Turbo, Blue

Works as expected for converting PS5 controllers to the PS3 and Switch effortlessly, just plug in and and sync and you're ready to go in about 5 seconds. All buttons and gyro work as expected. Speed is excellent as far as adapters go and you wouldn't really notice any input delay. Wired option is good for non-wireless peripherals. Quality is good, as is usual for Brook (I also have their PS2 Wingman, which is similarly great) which helps justify the priciness, cheaper adapters are available but having used many of them, they usually aren't as stable or reliable as the Brook when it comes to connectivity.

This just works. If you have a PS3 console then get this. Press sync on the Wingman and then pair your controller. My Xbox Series X controller paired instantly and all menu buttons and gameplay were perfect. Even rumble worked.

Able to use ps5 controller on ps3

The Brook Wingman XE 2 Converter has worked wonders for my PS3 and has breathed new life into it! I tried out the SIXAXIS function on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune by replaying a chapter that uses it (the SIXAXIS function is a requirement in the game and is not optional). The PS5 controller that I connected to it works like a charm! The vibration also works well. I tried a few games and can now be confident in going in to completing my PS3 backlog. 90% of the backlog are single player epics that still have trophies that I need to collect. Great device at a great price. Bought primarily to have my ps5 controller work on my ps3 which it does effortlessly.

So far it seems it is the perfect plug and play solution to use new controllers with PS3. Bought to replace a different aftermarket controller with a PS5 DualSense as my other controller was not very comfortable to use. Simply plugged this into the console, plugged the controller into this dongle and immediately paired with no issue. The other bonus is it supports motion control which some PS3 games required and the other controller did not have which many aftermarket controllers don’t.

Wow - connected it up to my PS3 and now I'm playing with my PS4 controller and finding that all of the rumble and motion functions work perfectly. Magic. This is a great solution to the issue of PS3 controllers losing reliable battery charge. Can't recommend this enough. If you've got spare controllers kicking around the house, put them to good use on your PS3 with this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have small hands and find the PS4 controller fairly uncomfortable, especially trying to use the triggers for throttle/brake and the stick for steering in GT7. I have pretty short fingers so it's kind of a stretch. I'd been looking at new controllers, specifically something like an Xbox One style controller without loving the options. Enter the Brooks Wingman. I have an Xbox One controller I love already, so I figured I'd give this a shot. Picked it up for $15 off on Prime Day, and for $35 to use my favorite controller it's hard to beat. Within five minutes of opening the box, I had the controller paired to my PS4 and working great. Super quick, easy, and painless. One quirk I will note is my controller was connected but not working. I followed the turbo setup instructions and it worked. Shut that back off because I didn't want to use it for GT7 and got right into playing. Took less than ten seconds to get it paired and maybe 30 seconds to do the turbo setup/shut off. I haven't tried remapping buttons or anything yet, since it just works like a PS4 controller straight out of the box and I've had no need. It's honestly less of a pain than getting the Bluetooth to cooperate with my PC, so I may use it for both now. And maybe my Switch 2, as I find the Xbox One controller a little more comfortable than my Pro controller. Time will tell how long it works, but I'm really happy with this. Already picked up three quarters of a second on my average laps in GT7 just having a controller that fits my hands better. If the need ever arises, I will be buying another of these without a second thought.
