Great small and convenient.

This is my go to hatchet. I have used it on multiple occasions at the range and camping. The blade is pretty sharp at first for small things but if you are doing some serious chopping you may want to use the puck that comes with it to hone in that edge. Has a really nice weight to it. The sheath is nothing special not super durable. If you are going to hammer anything with the back of it take the sheath off or you will split the end of it like I did. I would recommend making your own with some thicker leather. Besides that this this is a winner it cuts wood and goes where you swing it. The puck, sheath, and belt holster are a bonus.

This hatchet has a sleek, attractive design and feels like a great value for the price. The build quality seems sturdy, though I’ve only used it once so far to split small pieces of firewood into kindling for fire starters. It feels lightweight and comfortable to handle, and the leather blade guard is easy to attach and remove. My only downside is that it didn’t feel very sharp right out of the box. Using a sharpening stone should help, but I do wish it came sharper from the start. That said, it met my expectations overall and will likely become a regular tool for my camping trips.

As far as what I will use this for (hunting), this is a well built, sharp hatchet that is very portable. Not only would it be a good hiking tool and camping tool, but I even plan on trying it on some wooden spoon making. We'll done

Been getting lots of good use! Prepping stock for spoon carving and even cut down a small Russian olive tree. Holds an edge well, & easy to sharpen

Amazing little hatchet. I regrind it and transform the handle a bit and it makes an excellent throwing axe!!! Love it.
