I use powder eyeshadow as eyeliner. So I apply this primer to my eyelids first before I apply the liner. This product is less expensive than the product I used to use and works just as well to keep my eyeliner on all day. I haven’t noticed that it dries out my eyelids and it’s quite easy to apply. A little bit goes a long way.

Every time I use this for a night out, or date night my eyeshadow stays on for days! Even when I forget to wash my face at night it’s still in tact in the morning. Great product

This primer goes on nice and thin, I spread it evenly with my finger, not the applicator, and it works really well. My eye shadow is “glued on” all day, and the price is very reasonable. I’d actually pay more for it but don’t tell Elf.

It's works well, but be aware that there is so very little of it in the tube!! It seemdls like the tube could be half the size it is and still hold the quantity of primer you're actually getting! I'm certain it has the ounces it says it has, but that amount doesn't last long at all or go very far!! Definitely not getting the value for your money.

Being nearly 73 your eyelids get a bit....'droopy'. Mostly the one on the left. This would make your eyeliner smudge looking messy in a couple of hours. I tried multiple eyeshadow primers. I don't even wear eyeshadow...but needed something to keep the eyeliner in place. I have used this one now for a couple of months and am very happy how it works for me. You don't need very much at all. I just put a tiny bit on and blend with a brush and then apply my dark brown eyeliner smudged with some dark brown powder. Simple. Easy. Lasts all day. Summer weather will test this further...but am confident this will past the test there too. I will let know!

This actually works really well as a primer to keep your eyeshadow on and not crease. I used to have higher priced ones and have tried concealers for the same reason, but for the money this beats them all!

Hello!!! If u want ur shimmers to stay, definitely use this product! NOT greasy. The applicator it may seem creamy, so u think it might apply like a concealer, but once applied, it’s transparent. I genuinely recommend this.

Ho voluto provare questo primer, essendo in offerta, 'tradendo' il mio abituale. Sono contenta di averlo fatto perché è migliore! Leggero, quasi impalpabile e ne basta davvero poco. Io per abitudine do una spolverata sulla palpebra con la cipria dopo l'applicazione e procedo con il make-up. Tenuta eccezionale e non si formano le classiche righe per accumulo dell'ombretto. Lo ricomprerò!

Does this perform as well as some of the premium brands such as Too Faced or Urban Decay? No, but for the price this retails at you really can’t get better. Does it make eyeshadows more vibrant? Yes, it does. Does it make the lid area smoother for even application of eyeshadow? Yes, it does. Does it help prevent eyeshadow wearing off throughout the day? Again, yes. If you can afford luxury brands then you’ll probably be disappointed but if you’re like me - trying to stretch the pennies and looking for guilt free cosmetic purchases - then most of ELF’s products are worth are considering.

This primer is fantastic! It keeps my eyeshadow in place all day without creasing or fading. A little goes a long way, and it feels light and smooth on the eyelids. My eye looks have never lasted this long — absolutely love it!
