Regia Schachenmayr 4-Thread Color, 100G Tropical Handknitting Yarns

Love this wool when knitted up into the most gorgeous pair of socks that are both warm and great to look at. They've kept my feet snuggly during the latest spell of cold weather. They wash very well, on a wool cycle and come up like new every time.

I've knitted a pair of socks. Lovely yarn. Patterns itself. Thinking of getting some more but for many items the delivery date is pending so obviously Amazon is experiencing some difficulties. But the yarn is very good

I made 2 pairs of ankle socks, in size 38, matching each sock to its pair. It was a very nice yarn to work with and the colour scheme is very nice. No knots or tangles. Good quality yarn. Could be some what cheaper though.

I've been knitting socks in Regia for over 20 years: some of the oldest pairs are still going strong. They wash well in the machine on a polycotton 40°, but I don't tumble dry, despite the ballband instructions. The colours in this version are a little paler than the picture, but still a nice combination.

I got this yarn because of the colours but it’s very thin and harsh. Had to use double and then the self striping ability is lost, and the item was thicker than expected but the yarn was barely enough.

Love the way that the variegated wool makes patterns all by itself.

Lovely to knit with, the self patterning design is fabulous. And!!! this yarn has a 10 year guarantee! How amazing is that. Well worth the money if the socks you make are guaranteed for 10 years :)

I love this yarn! Always unexpected and always unbelievably beautiful! If it feels great in your hands it’ll feel wonderful in socks! I hate to overuse the exclamation mark, but the color combos and the soft feel and the needle ease all scream WOW!

Generally, when something says 100 g on the ad, I assume I will receive 100 g. Wrong, I only received 90 grams. Unfortunately, I noticed this AFTER I wound the first 50 grams into a ball and cut the yarn. I will be weighing my Regia if I ever buy any again.

Very soft, beautiful colours, arrived punctually. I use it for knitting small dolls and their clothes. Will be buying other colours!
