Brilliant

Only just started but i like it and it makes me want to persist. But, the most important instruction he gave me was just to “ play around” with it, so making me think i’m still following his lessons if i pick it up when i’ve got a spare 5 minutes!

Nice and concise.

As a keyboard, brass and guitar player I suddenly, at 63, decided to try and learn how to play the harmonica. Bought a decent one from Amazon (Easttop blues) and this book caught by eye so, in for a penny, in for a pound, I took the plunge. The chap also has a YouTube channel with videos that relate to the book. I can actually hold a tune now and not just run around making a noise like a police car like I did when I was about 8 😂

I found this book a bit misleading, you have to upload on to your devices a video which I thought was a CD in the book it's self when I purchased it.

Clearly, to the author, Anton Davydov, there's no limit to the potential versatility of everybody to make their own music on the harmonica, the " harp. " He gives clear instructions on how to play a broad range of tunes, both those that are very well known and others you will improvise yourself. He describes in detail how to use the different techniques of playing to produce the distinctive sound of the harp

Excellent book for beginners.

Decent effort as an instructional book.

I would definitely recommend this book for everyone who’d like to learn on how to play harmonica. Plain language, accent on improvisation, links to video and audio. All the steps literally a-z: how to hold, how to move your lips, why it works that way. Great job!

Boek zelf is prima, alleen de layout is wat vreemd. Normaal heeft een boek toch een royale witmarge, dit boek is bijna van papierrand tot papierrand gedrukt en is daardoor wat minder fijn te lezen. De lessen -en daar gaat het toch om- zijn echter heel waardevol.

Absolutely amazing book with links to videos via photo reader of QR codes in the book. There are 25 vidios and 78 audio tracks. Its fun, as he teaches how to read tablature, but also how to have fun just improvising and jamming to his guitar. Great for kids and adults.

This book worked great for my teen daughter. She is already taking music lessons so it was a great and cheap way to introduce new instrument. She finds steps easy to follow and enjoys herself while learning
