I bought this for my boyfriend. I couldn't tell you a thing about it other than he was THRILLED. Said it was a great price, he loves how sturdy it is. He even allows our 6 yr old to play with it. it fits perfectly in the case i bought. I'll definitely buy another one if we get another switch.

Works great. Stays charged super long. Probably lasted over 40 hours of gameplay before needing charged. Connection remained strong with no issues during play, only needs reconnected if the switch is turned off. Minor downsides is the standard switch sits a little loose to fit the larger OLED model, but stays put. Charger cable included works fine for the controller but is not strong enough to properly charge the switch, so you need to use a correct switch charger instead.

I’ve only had this for a couple hours but I can already feel the superior quality as opposed to the regular joy sticks. Feels well made, very comfortable grip. It has adjustable RGB lighting on the thumb sticks. It comes with a dual tip usb-c charger for the console and the hand held. As I mentioned before I’ve only had it for an hour so I won’t comment on the handhelds battery life. Other than that I feel like this is a must have if you have big hands.

I ordered this controller for my gamer daughter, here are her thoughts: The controller works well so far, but it's only been in use for about a week, so I can't speak to long-term lifespan. But it's easy to use, the instructions are clear and it started working right away with no argument. The buttons feel a little different from original hardware, but they're responsive and seem to work well. The light effects around the controls sticks are nice, but they were more of a bonus that I probably won't use much. The only thing I'm concerned about is that while I do like that the controller came with a split charger cable, but I've had a little bit of trouble getting it to plug into the Switch itself. It plugs into the controller fine with a little effort, but it strangely feels like it's too big to fit in the USB-C port on the Switch. This isn't huge deal since I have other cables, and maybe I'm being too gentle with it out of caution, but that was the one notable problem I've had in the short time I've been using the controller. Still, as long as it continues to work well, I would hope to never *have* to buy another one and that this one will last, but *so far* I would say I recommend it as an alternative to the much pricier Official controllers if you're looking for a replacement for playing in hand-held mode.

This genuinely is a game changer for handheld gaming, but the only thing I dont like is how bright the power light is. 5/5 stars, will be buying as a gift.

This backbone is user friendly and works exactly as intended. The overall functionality is solid, and setup and pairing are simple. Connectivity has been stable with no issues during use. The customizable buttons add a lot to gameplay, and because of that this is now the only way my son plays his Switch in handheld mode for single player games. It does feel bulkier and heavier than Joy Cons or a Switch Lite, and the added weight can be noticeable during longer play sessions. There is no noticeable lag, and the product feels sturdy. For the price, it offers good value for money, especially if customization or handheld play are priorities. Overall, this is a great option if you want more control options, as long as you are okay with the extra size and weight (which we are!)

Works great. Could be a bit easier to connect each time but responds well. Locks screen into place and responds well. Cool color options and holds a decent charge time.

Pretty great! The manual has a decent enough guide to set things up, there are buttons to change the lights and to program inputs in sequence. Not super heavy, I usually use this to play while lying back or on my side and it has enough heft that it can take the weight of my arm in the air so that never gets tired. All the buttons feel pretty good to press too the joysticks are solid and I haven't noticed any issues over about 100 hours use. There is a USB 3.0 to split USB-C wire included, so you can charge both the Switch and the controller's battery at once. Turning the system on with the same button you use to turn the controller on is pretty satisfying. There's also ventilation space behind the system on the back and locks at the top on the back so the Switch never wiggles or feels loose. Works amazing, isn’t too big or bulky. and helps when your joycons have trouble staying connected to your switch. super happy with this purchase. i have always had issues where my joycons were getting disconnected mid game and was super annoying to pair. this is great because its not connected via the main screen it’s connected by bluetooth. love the little lights and how easy it is to pair. also comes with charger for the controller although its the same as your switch uses. great purchase!!!

This thing is awesome! It was easy to setup and works like a dream. Only thing to consider is portability for travel, going to need a carrying case or bag for it, but that is minor in the grand scheme of things. This controller restored the switch , with the original controllers experiencing drift and random clicks, to a useable state!

So far, loving this controller. Very ergonomic with textured grips, have not got around to programming the additional buttons but everything seems to function as it should, from basic controls to the built in turbo, gyro, rgb lights, rumble and amiibo scanner function. I have not tested for durability as in drop testing, nor do I plan to. For those complaining the controller stopped functioning after using it for hours over the course of days, weeks or a month. Keep in mind this device functions off of a lithium battery. When the battery looses all of it's charge, the controller will stop responding or powering up, (without the need to be constantly plugged in during use). Lithium batteries are also known for refusing to take a charge if left fully depleted. That said, don't forget to charge the controller if you want it to last.

I love this controller, except for one thing. It works great, it feels great in your hand and most importantly for me, the switch can be locked in place so it doesn't slide out, the way it was sliding off my original controllers. My only gripe is that it does not auto connect to the switch. Every time the screen goes dark, when I want to play again, I have to re-sync the controller, by tapping the screen into the controller settings & holding the home button down till it lights up. Other than that, it's fantastic and I would recommend to anyone that has a switch - especially if the original controllers no longer properly stay attached.

Highly recommend and well worth it! After our family switch has been relegated to the 5-year old to play Mario Wonder, this controller has made it the belle of the ball. My other kids have now been revisiting Zelda and Pokemon games that they didn’t complete. This makes the switch feel like a Steamdeck! Very solid grips which are comfortable and not cramped like the joycons, and best of all because the switch locks in place the joycons don’t constantly slip out and disconnect while playing. The battery life seems to outlast the console so no issues there. It comes with a charger with a Y connector to charge both switch and controller at the same time. The only downside is the turbo buttons which 3rd party controller manufacturers always seem to add in for no good reason. Though not annoying enough to lose a star rating, it would be nice to permanently disable them so the kids don’t accidentally hit them as they are on the back of the grip and can be pressed without meaning to.
