I LOVE this scraper. I'm working on a furniture refinishing project and needed to strip 100 year old stain and varnish. This has worked beautifully, and significantly better than chemical stripper. No chemicals, no fumes, no issues. It has been amazing to be able to work on the project indoors without needing ventilation (for this step, at least). This is ideal for large, flat surfaces and can do some damage if you use too much pressure, at an angle, or try to scrape small, detailed areas. The blade is sharp, the handle is comfortable. I ended up unhappy with my first new coat of stain, and I used this again to remove it quickly, before it had even fully dried. Excellent value for the cost, in my opinion-- I stripped an entire furniture piece with it and the blade doesn't seem to have dulled at all. Easy to wipe clean periodically during the process. It's surprisingly lightweight, but effective. Honestly can't think of a basic tool I've been this happy with for a long time.

A must have for scraping the siding on a house or cottage. Flat and remains sharp for a long time. A perfect upgrade over the traditional paint scrapers that require sharpening. Buy the tool and a pack of blades and your set for a long time.
