I like this device! It made it very easy for me to check the pH of my lawn before scattering seed. In 10 minutes (Insert the probe and keep busy with something else while the meter gets a good read on your soil) I knew that the dirt was perfectly balanced and ready for sowing. The meter also checks the moisture level and measures how much light the area receives. It's a great tool and worked well for me!

Update Jun 25, 2020: after nearly a year of these lying around, I decided to give it another try. Since they seemed oxidized, scrubbed and cleaned them. Tried it again on a potted rose bush which was showing stunted growth, and wow! It works like a charm. Turns out the soil was highly acidic - 4.5ph. Have added some lime. Hope it works. This product works as mentioned in the details. If you're facing issues, try scrubbing the oxidation off. Updating my review rating to 5 stars! Update: Although, the pH meter didn't work, but the customer service is excellent! They kept on working with me and sent replacements promptly. I wish the pH meter worked too, because that is what I needed. ---------- Works fine for measuring soil moisture or sun light, but does not work at all for measuring the soil PH. Tried it in multiple places in ground and in pots. Places which have been altered to be more acidic with coffee ground etc. Still it showed the ph to be 7 - perfectly neutral! Not possible. I will test it out again at a few other places today, but if it doesn't work, this will be returned as I bought it only to test soil PH for my Blueberry plants which are showing signs of Chlorosis but this stayed at 7. if I can't use it to measure the ph, it is useless for me.

Works. Great price. Measures pH, moisture level, and light level.. My only problem with it is that the screen is small and (for me) difficult to read. There’s a big difference between pH 6 and 7, for example, and I think I’ll dish out more money for one with a more discernable digital readout that will read out finer measurements. This one is great however, if you just wanna get your hubby to quit drowning your houseplants.

This is the second SONKIR pH meter and soil moisture tester I've purchased and used heavily. The last one lasted 7 years until I accidentally broke off one of the tips. I use it primarily to test the moisture in my lawn soil so I don't over or under water which is import here in HOT Southern California. I highly recommend, its a great product at a fair price and fast delivery.

Ph readings do not work, the moisture and sun seem to work somewhat but I do not have full faith in this product.

I'm very unhappy with this product. They claim that if anything is wrong with the product they will do whatever it takes to have a satisfactory outcome. They claim that in transit it often can set the calibration to not work correctly. This is the case I guess for mine. It was completely useless in that I would stick it in the soil, and it would not move in any direction. The light stayed the same the water stayed the same and the pH levels date the same. When I tried to contact them to tell them, to see if we could have a new one shipped, as they claim themselves, nobody got back to me. After 2 weeks of waiting for a response, I decided to return it through Amazon at ups. The reason why, was because Amazon was asking me how my return went, and the longer the time will go, I could have ran out of time to be able to return it within the window time frame. So I ended up returning it, and getting no solution, and getting no response even. So as far as the customer service, they are not what they claim. As far as the products I don't know if it got destroyed in transit, I just know that it did not work. So all in all, I will go with a different meter. Half of my plants are large potted plants, the other half are smaller. It says for best results to stick the probes six to seven inches into the soil for an accurate reading. For all of my smaller potted plants, this would not be possible as the depth of the pot is not even six to seven inches. If it's that easy for the product to get destroyed just by having it shipped and not work when you get it, then I would be more inclined to buy a meter that will come protected and bubble wrap and ensure that it will come to me in working condition. This one just came in a thin little box with no padded protection. That might be the reason why it gets destroyed in transit, as they claim. Definitely far from happy, I have been waiting for a soil meter for so long, and then I went with this one that had such good reviews only to find out that the reviews were completely incorrect.

Came well packaged on time no damage. Explicit instructions included easy Care instructions included to prolong Life of item Good value for the price well made. 2 prongs ensure stabilit when inserted into dirt to check moisture . I liked the fact it had readings for Moisture, light and PH.

This has lasted surprisingly long. The light meter works pretty well, the moister does too. Update, still working well. Buying a second for the garden so I can keep the other for the inside plants. Remember folks, this measures electrical conductivity through soil. The wetter the soil the better the conductivity. Sticking this in a glass of water to test and calming it doesn't work only proves you're an idiot. Understand the tool you're using, how it works, so you can gauge the approximate Ph, moister, light levels. This isn't a scientifically accurate tool. It's nine bucks.

Waardeloze Ph meter waar je hem ook insteekt compost ,teelaarde,wit zand … hij blijft op 7 staan.

Good product at this price. Don't use same day after watering. Better when top/surface is dry and you want to measure the situation half way through. Calibration is good.

The PH measuring mode on the meter does not work and this is the only reason I bought it. Dissaponted.
