This is such a gorgeous book destined for display in my house. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside. It is a bit heavy but not unmanageable. The ink pops off the pages and does the artist justice. Anyone interested in this book should stop inquiring and make the plunge. You won’t regret it.

I purchased this book so that we could use it for wall art. I almost couldn't bring myself to remove pages. But after a few months, we did remove some pages to be framed. Since we were very careful in the removal of the pages, this will continue to be a coffee table book as well. The detail of the prints is amazing!

Wow! This has a lot to it! Beautiful pictures! Only downside is how some of it is printed. Some of the pictures could have had more vivid colors. But nonetheless it still a beautiful book!

This book is unbelievably wonderful. I’m a amateur botanical artist and love books like this one. I believe that this is the best book yet in my library in regards to reading and viewing flowers. Thanks for the one day shipping!

Full color oversized book is beautiful! This book has minimal text and MANY full-page portraits of flowers. The pages are not glossy, but are a beautiful matte. The book is heavy, and almost 2.25" thick. Anyone that stops over likes to look at these beautiful pictures. I have a few other books that depict Redoute's flowers, but this book is by far the best! I have included a picture of an 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper on top of the open book to show how large the pages are. I highly recommend this book. Please mark if you find my review helpful. Joseph Pierre Redoute was the premiere floral artist of his day. This is the smaller version of the much larger Taschen book. Smaller in size but it still contains everything the larger volume does.
